About Us

Blackmarket Horde was started in late BC by a few friends, and quickly grew into a raiding guild. We are a fairly laid-back guild that likes to have fun (after all, it IS a game), but we are also interested in clearing content and gearing up for even greater challenges.

We have been focusing most of our best people on 10-man Ulduar, but are interested in gearing up a second team for Ulduar and have just begun running 25-man Ulduar. As such, we have been accepting new members and are still running 10 and 25 man Naxx.

We raid most nights out of the week. The server is on PST, and we typically raid for 3-4 hours a night starting at 6:00PM server time. We use Ventrilo to communicate during our raids, so we will expect you to have it or be willing to use it.

We have many members who also enjoy the PVP aspect of the game, and have several guild arena teams going. It is not unusual for an entire raid of our guild to end up in WG defending so we can take a shot at VOA that night.


About You

We are a somewhat more mature guild, with few players being below the age of 18. Younger players have not typically been a good fit for our guild. You have to be able to show up on time, and be ready to raid. We are not looking for only the best geared, so new lvl 80s feel free to apply. The most important thing is that you know your class and are able to play intelligently (know when to pop cooldowns and not to pull additional mobs, etc) and to the best of your abilities.


Class-specific Notes

We are currently seeking skilled players of all classes EXCEPT rogues, warlocks and DKs. Those that are willing to heal and/or tank are especially desirable, but we are looking for skilled players for all roles.
