Colonial Space Marines is currently looking for the following classes:

Death Knight: We are highly interested in including a Death Knight tank in our raids due to the many advantages the class brings. We are looking for someone with previous tanking experience (preferably in TBC and Classic), who knows their rotation for maximum TPS very well, and who can react very quickly to any situation. The ideal candidate should also feel very comfortable with the DPS role and be able to produce high numbers should the need arise. As part of your tryout, you would be required to main tank Hodir's heroic hard mode as well as Thorim's heroic hard mode.

Caster DPS: We are also interested in exceptional caster DPS of the warlock or mage kind.


About Us:

CSM was formed in late 2004 and since then we've been the leading PvE guild in Destromath. We've successfully completed all raiding content since Classic WoW, including a US top 20 kill of Kel'thuzad in classic Naxxramas and a US #29 kill of Pre-nerf M'uru in Sunwell Plateau. Currently we are sitting at top 20 US for Ulduar progression and working hard on Ulduar achievements.

CSM is not boot camp. It is our main goal to have a fun and relaxed raiding atmosphere while taking progression very seriously.


Other Information:

Raid Schedule: We raid at least 5 days a week, from Sundays to Thursdays from 6:00pm Pacific Time to 10:00pm Pacific. During progression, we extend our raiding schedule to Fridays and it's not uncommon for raids to go as late as 11:30pm Pacific. You are expected to maintain nearly 100% attendance, since we run a very small raiding group of about 28-29 core raiders.

Gear Requirements: We are currently working on Ulduar hard modes. Due to this, we expect all of our applicants to have at least full T7 Heroic quality gear. If you are rocking mostly blues and Badge of Heroism loot, please don't bother applying.

Community: We place a lot of value in our members. Due to this, we are not interested in people that log on just for raids, but rather in people who are on a lot and do other activities outside of raiding. We tend to hang in Ventrilo a lot, talk about various things, play DOTA, Left 4 Dead, etc. We would like you to be an active part of our community.
