Clatto Verata Nicto (CVN) is currently progressing through Ulduar and is looking for a few exceptional players to strengthen our raiding core. Applicants must be skilled, experienced, and well-geared.

CVN is predominantly a guild of young professionals, and college and graduate school students. Due to these real life pursuits we have a moderate raid schedule, however when we raid we raid seriously. We hold raiders to a high standard of performance and preparation. We keep criticism constructive and maintain a positive raid atmosphere, but raiders will be held accountable. CVN maintains a mature, respectful and bigotry-free environment. Applicants must embrace these principles.

Requirements:

The Basics:

1. Skill - New applicants are expected to demonstrate and maintain a high level of skill. This includes actual output of DPS and situational awareness to ensure you are alive to maximize your performance.
2. Communication - We require members to be reactive and responsive to direction given through both chat and ventrilo.
3. Gear - Tier 7.5 - Ulduar level gear is required. Your gear choices are a reflection of your class knowledge. Your gems and enchants should be maximized and support this knowledge.
4. Attendance - Due to our moderate raid schedule we are looking for applicants who can make most if not all raids (barring real life emergencies, vacations, or similar issues). This creates a solid raiding core with members being familiar with each raid encounter.
5. Stable Internet Connection - Regardless of skill, gear, attitude, or anything else, if you cannot get online and stay online, you cannot get the job done.

Desired Traits:

1. Dedication:
   • Well-Researched - Do you read the Elitist Jerks forums? Do you know how to min/max your class? If any of these terms are familiar to you, you are on the right track. We expect that you raid with the best spec, the best consumables, the best glyphs, and the best spell/ability rotations for your role. We are striving for efficiency and your playstyle must support this.
   • Prepared - Be repaired, have consumables, and repair money ready to go before raid time. You are expected to be at the raid instance at the scheduled time.
   • Reliable - We want to know that we can count on you to be consistent in temperament, attitude, performance, and attendance. Good raid performance one raid night out of ten is not acceptable.
2. Motivated - CVN is a progression guild and as such we are looking for motivated applicants who want to learn, work, and push guild progression. We want to begin tackling hard modes as quickly and efficiently as possible.
3. Experienced - We believe previous experience is a predictor of future success. Therefore, Tier 7.5-and above raiding experience is a necessity.
