[Horde] [Arygos] <Novus Chalybs> 2 HMs down, Recruiting Ranged DPS/Raid Healer

About <Novus Chalybs>:

Novus Chalybs on the Arygos (Nightfall, PvE) server raids 4 nights a week, Sun/Mon/Wed/Thurs 8-12 server. 90%+ attendance is expected. Certainly important things come up, birthdays, anniversaries, emergencies, but raiders should miss at most one raid out of every two weeks, ideally.

We have currently defeated 13/14 Ulduar and 2 hard modes (FL & XT), with 2 more expected to be defeated this week.

We have been around for about two years, being #1 on the Terokkar server for almost our entire existence there, before deciding to transfer to Arygos, a higher-pop server, in search of new challenges and competition. We defeated M'uru pre-3.0, and retain much of our core from our Sunwell days where we were a top200 US guild.

Most of us are college-age players, and enjoy having a good time together, while buckling down for challenging content. We enjoy the challenges, but also enjoy the people we play with.

About YOU:

We expect you to do your own homework and come prepared with knowledge of the fight. I post raid strategies and ideas on our forum, and it's expected before a new boss that everyone has a decent idea of the fight, so it doesn't take more than five minutes to explain and outline during the raid. We don't want to have to teach you how to play your class. Don't apply if you don't have proper gems/enchants that you're "planning on fixing." Fix them first, then apply-you don't get a second chance at a first impression.

We expect everyone to be min/maxing. Ulduar's hard-modes has challenges in it which require min/maxing, and we intend on being ready for that. Make sure you do your research and keep up with your class. Most of us take a look at our own and some other players' WWS' weekly to figure out what we're doing wrong, and how we can improve.

Also, attitude is important. We enjoy the group we run with, and we try to ensure that new applicants will fit in well with the guild. We're mostly a group of college guys with a good sense of humor and an ability to joke around without people getting upset. As far as an attitude about the game, we focus on getting the most we can from our 16 raid hours, and try to make sure we don't waste time.

If you're a min/maxer and seek to get everything out of your gear and character, and expect that everyone else in your raid is doing the same, then we're the place for you! If you want to be carried through content, we're not for you.

Class-specific notes:

Currently, we are looking for the following:
Any exceptional tank.

The following DPS classes: (** means the class is of a high priority. No asterisks implies that there is room on the roster for more, but not an absolute need):
**Elemental shaman**
**Feral Druid DPS (Tank set/ability to tank in a pinch would be an added bonus)**
Mage/Warlock
Death Knight

The following healing classes:
Resto Shaman
Holy Priest

How to Apply:
