Raid Schedule

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 8 PM – 11 PM EST

Audacity uses the EPGP loot system. EP is earned by attending raids, GP for receiving loot. The ratio of the two determines priority for the next piece of gear.

Raid invites are started 15 minutes prior to raid start time. We use the calendar on our guild website to sign up to raids on a first-come, first-serve basis. Like many other guilds, the start of the summer/end of school year has caused a drop in raiding attendance. In the fall, when more people come back after taking a summer off, raiding rotations may come into effect.

With such a light raiding schedule, we expect you to be able to make two out of the three weekly raids, and to be logged on and ready to go at the stated time. This means you’re in the instance, buffed and ready to go at 8 PM.

On off-nights, we run 10-man Ulduar, as well as VoA, OS and Naxx. There is usually some type event scheduled on any given night.

About Us

Audacity is a well established, friendly raiding guild. Many of us became close friends while raiding together with our prior guild. We've experienced all of Burning Crusade content with the exception of Sunwell. Since Wrath of the Lich King came out we have proceeded at a similar pace and cleared all available content with the exception of Sartharion +3 prior to patch 3.1. After Ulduar was introduced we immediately began having success clearing 10-man Ulduar up to Mimiron, as well as being productive in 25 man content up to Auriaya. The bottom line is that we have a great group of raiders who are dedicated to clearing 3.1 content while having a great time doing it.

Above all else Audacity is focused on seeing and completing all 10 man and 25 man content. Our strengths lie in our friendly team-spirit, our enjoyment of World of Warcraft, and our willingness to operate as a guild rather than as a collection of individuals. The majority of our members are adult players, who understand that raiding is a team effort both inside and outside of the raid instance. We support one another enabling our progression to further challenges, further successes and more fun. Through the challenges we've faced together, we have become a group of firm friends, and from my point of view, this guild and its members are second to none!

Audacity is run by its council of officers. We work together as a team and we're always open to hearing what you have to say, and should you have any fresh ideas you can talk to any officer or council member via our forums or during a quiet moment in game.

About You

We’re looking for players who know their character inside and out, and your gear/gems/enchants/achievements/talents should reflect that fact. If you log on 10 minutes before a raid, log off right after and are not seen again until the next raid, we probably won’t be interested in you. Raiding at the Ulduar level requires a steady cash flow (expect to spend 100g or more a night), and we expect you to have all the necessary consumables (flasks, food and potions). We monitor our raids to ensure everybody is properly buffed, and you will be told to correct the situation if you don’t have a food/flask buff active. Yes, this means bringing 3 flasks per raid night.

We expect you to now how/when to buff if you’re a buffing class. WoW has been out for close to five years; we shouldn’t have to tell you what to do. Raiders asking for buffs is an unacceptable situation – you should have buffed them already.

While we don’t expect you to have BiS gear, we expect you to be able to hit the ground running in Ulduar-25. This means you should have mostly Naxx-25 level gear.

In essence, you should be a former hardcore raider who simply doesn’t have the time to spend 20+ hours a week raiding. Hardcore on a casual schedule – that pretty much sums up who we’re looking for.
