Premonition is a world-class guild that has been competitive in kill rankings since Black Temple, and has been on the rise ever since. We had a strong showing in Sunwell and have only continued to excel in Wrath, culminating with a US 1st, World 2nd Finish in both Tier 7 and Ulduar (T8). Some of the notable kills:

We've maintained an active and recognized (both officially and unofficially) presence in raid testing and class and encounter balancing on the PTR's.

Premonition is looking for a few raiders. We have a very small roster, and would like to have a bit more flexibility redundancy in the case exceptional stacking is beneficial, or some people miss raids. Note: We are not recruiting for the bench, these are raid spots.

Currently we have around 29 regular raiders (and 2 trials), which means nearly everyone is automatically in every raid. Our players are highly encouraged to have alternate characters that are equally as geared as their mains, which they can play as well. This allows us to have a raid group that can change its composition fairly drastically, without requiring a complete shift in the individual players we bring, which provides numerous benefits both in terms of personnel and continuity.

If you are another class not listed here, but feel you're the type of player we are looking for, there's still a good chance we will consider you for recruitment. We are looking for the best players in the US, if you feel that is you, submit an application.


Hunter
Looking for a couple Hunters. We have 1 hunter on the roster, so we have some real openings here for people looking to step up. If you don't think you could execute Paragon's Alone in the Darkness Strategy or perform Kyridel's role in ours don't bother applying (if you don't know what I am referring to, then don't bother either).

Death Knight
Looking for 1 Hero Class, not just your run of the mill DK faceroller. Candidates should be comfortable playing whatever the FOTM Build for both tanking and DPS, Blizzard has shown a desire to recreate this class with every patch, so you should be up to date on all relevant theorycraft both on live and on the PTR. This will probably be more of a DPS role with some tanking, it is not a MT or Primary OT role, however applicants should have appropriate gear for both specs to be able to step in and contribute on day one.

In all cases, you are expected to know the ins and outs of your class, and keep up to date on all of the changes and proposed changes that your class sees on PTR's and the like. If you have alternate characters that are appropriately geared that you can also play competently, this will only help your case, even if it's not a case we're particularly "looking for".

Disclaimer: Premonition is focused on competing on the global level, this means we can and do raid a lot. If you are the type of person who gets upset when your guild gives up on a hard mode, or calls the raid early, then we may be the guild for you. If you are looking to show up for 4 hour, 4 nights a week then you will do great during farm and get eaten alive during progression. This past week we put in approximately 40 hours of attempts on Yogg-0 before getting the kill, this isn't meant to scare you off, things are cushy during the farm (we clear 25 man in 1 night and do multiple 10 mans on another, the rest of the time is your's until 3.2). Now, 3.2 looks to be a very short progression cycle, but 3.1 was ~3 months of 5-7 nights a week, and I would expect Icecrown to be similar if maybe not quite as long.
