Macabre is currently looking to fill the following positions on our roster for Coliseum hard modes and beyond;

• Paladin (Prot/Holy)
• Priest (Disc/Shadow)
• Warlock
• Death Knight (Tank/DPS)

What we are looking for

Paladin
We are currently without a full-time offtank as ours has recently moved on to other things. This position must be filled quickly and is currently at the top of our list of priorities. If you are a competent tank and can also switch to a holy spec to heal for single tank encounters and 10 mans then we would love to hear from you. Knowledge in all three trees is even better, a strong set of tanking gear is all that will be required if you apply. You would spend the majority of your time tanking if you apply for this spot, and would get a lot of raid time.

Priest
We are looking for exceptional players to fill either of these positions. These players need to prove that they are a cut above the rest, we have no urgency to fill these spots and will wait until someone special comes along. Any priest applicants need to be comfortable with all three specs but will probably spend most of their time in our 25 man raids as shadow. Proficiency with discipline and healing in general will however be necessary.

Warlock
For the warlock position we are really looking for someone who is comfortable playing a Demo spec at times when we need the added utility and are without an elemental shaman, but a multi-faceted player who can bring top performance to the raid with a more traditional dps spec is ideal.

Deathknight
For the Deathknight position we are looking for a well rounded player who is confident with both a tanking and a dps role. On single fight encounters you will generally be expected to DPS unless your class possesses an advantage over one of our other tanks, but on fights that require more than one tank you can expect to off-tank frequently.

All Applicants
We want players who are self starters, research and theory craft encounters before hand, participate and contribute to a lively and goal oriented environment on Ventrilo and in-game and are always looking for that new way to gain an edge and sharpen their performance. About Us

Macabre has remained a competitive guild on Mannoroth(PvP - East Coast), since its inception in December of 2004. We are comprised of a tight knit group of experienced and dedicated players. We raid from 7:00PM to Midnight EST a maximum of five nights per week, Sunday through Thursday. We are currently clearing content in 2 nights, but this will increase when Heroic ToC is unlocked. There are typically two 10 mans per week which are run on off nights. Our active roster is about 30 strong so almost everyone gets a consistent raid spot, and we are fairly consistent from one night to the next.

Current progression includes having beaten all hard modes including Alone in the Darkness and Algalon the Observer.
