Clip yogg clouds, chain death coils, steal portals, eat shadowcrashes, sit in the raid with <debuff here>, die to avoidable damage, and lastly, if multitasking is too difficult for you please don't waste your time and apply elsewhere.

We don't tolerate bad players, if you mess up often you will be removed.

The type of players we're actively looking for:
We are looking for long term members, and people who actually play the game outside of raiding. vodka is not a guild full of raid loggers who log on just to raid, we do other things this game has to offer. If you feel vodka is the type of guild for you and you have the correct experience and gear to back that up, read on and put up an application and we will get back to you.

To be in our roster you must maintain high attendance (95%+) any lower and you will not pass the trial phase. We try to keep a small roster so we need all our applicants and members to be here almost all the time ready to raid, 7pm to 1am. However, our priority is to raid smarter not harder. After progression is all done we will be raiding very relaxed with a couple days off until new content comes out.

vodka recruitment is currently open for a few select classes:

Tank - On a very high priority right now, we are looking for a tank. (1 of these) (Death Knight, Feral Druid) Bonus if you can DPS and compete damage wise.
Druid - Looking for a second Restoration Druid that is capable of destroying every other healer on the meters while having high situational awareness.
Hunter - Looking for a second hunter that is capable of competing with our current hunter in terms of damage and performance.
Mage - Need a third mage that is able to bring amazing DPS and does not tunnel vision DPS.


These are all potential full time spots, you just need to be the type of player we're looking for.


About us:
Here at vodka we're preparing for the hard modes that come out in a few weeks. That means filling in a few holes. To give a little bit of a background of what we're looking for - we're looking for quality players that have a strong desire to raid. You need to have fast reaction times, understand your class fully (we really don't want to tell you how to spec optimally per encounter), be willing to spend the time and gold (we respec on a per boss basis during progression). You need to not die to things that you can control (shadow fissures, void zones, sanity loss, etc).

There are a few tiers of what we need. Some are more important to our progression then others.



Application Process:
The application process at the least takes one month, but it will be delayed if the officers don't think you are the type of player we want. We want players who rarely make mistakes, players who don't need their hand to be held through encounters. When we bring you to raids we expect little to no mistakes. This is explained in detail in the section below.

Loot Distribution:
As of 8/6/09 the officers of vodka have decided to move to an officer decision based loot distribution system. The reasons behind it are to optimize loot distribution to make our raid stronger, to award solid performance, and to better organize our loot distribution. Like most guilds, applicants will not receive any loot until promoted to raider status.


What we expect from you:
We expect you to come to raids fully prepared. What this means is having full raid consumables to get you through the raid, a viable raiding spec/glyphs, and the desire to succeed. We want you to want to be in our raids, and we will invest in you as much as you invest into us. As a guild, vodka strives to be the best. We expect our raiders to know as much about a fight before even stepping into the instance.

We want raiders to ask for clarification about something they don’t understand, not just sit back and expect to be carried through an encounter. If you feel that these expectations are too high, or that you cannot dedicate the time and effort into vodka, then we are not the guild for you.
