[Horde][Whisperwind] <Unholy Aura> is looking for a couple of Priests and Druids
 

Currently Recruiting:

All recruited players will raid 99% of the time as the spec listed. We simply prefer to have people respec if possible, instead of subbing them out all together, should a particular encounter warrant some tweaks to composition.

Druids
We need a couple of great caster Druids. Resto or Balance as main spec, with the gear, skill, and desire to play an alternate role as offspec in a pinch.

Priests
We are looking for both a dedicated Shadow Priest and a kick-butt Holy Priest. Having the alternate role
as your Secondary Spec is a plus.

A good recruit:

We are looking for players who share our dedication to conquering all the in-game challenges while maintaining a RL. Players who have embraced 'hard mode' raiding and all it entails, but at the same time believe that raiding shouldn't require a 6-night-a-week commitment in order to see success. Above all, we are looking for those people behind the keyboard that will fit in with our laid-back, diverse, somewhat rowdy and crude, online community.

I strongly encourage players who are considering UA to get on our forums and pester me with questions, or get on our vent and listen in on a raid or two. Hell, make a lvl1 on the server and we'll let you eavesdrop on gchat. We want people who are going to love us enough to stick around, and with whom we'll actually enjoy spending our time.

(Typical) Expectations:
1) You keep up with current class mechanics and theory-crafting for your class.
2) You're on time to raids and ready to go with full consumables.
3) You maintain an 85%+ attendance rate, and let us know if RL interferes with your ability to raid, with as much forewarning as is feasible.
4) You appropriately research each encounter we are working on and the role your class needs to fill. This is extremely important; we will not hold hands in this department.
5) You show up to our raids with the most effective talent spec possible for your class/role and your gear must have optimal enchants and gems.



About Unholy Aura:
Unholy Aura is a long established raiding guild on the Whisperwind-US server, focused on content progression. Unholy Aura is currently recruiting to refill the last couple gaps in our 25 man raiding roster after losses to summer schedules and RL conflicts. We have a very strong 10-man core, and are looking to fill in some spots to strengthen our 25-man up to the same standard. We are looking for skilled, dedicated players that are up to the challenges presented in Heroic: Trial of the Crusader and beyond.

We are a group of mostly adult members, with all the attendant crude humor and bad jokes. If you take pretty much anything said on the internet with more than a grain of salt... we're probably not the best fit for you. Meshing well with the existing core's personalities is just as important as knowing your class, if we mean to succeed together long-term.

Raiding Times:
Monday to Thurs: 6:30PM to 10:00PM (CST)
Friday to Sunday: Off-time/Alt Raids/10-Man Raids

Progression:
Naxx - cleared
EoE - cleared
OS - cleared w/ 3D pre 3.1
Ulduar - We are currently 13/14 and working on the hard mode encounters. We have completed 4T FL and Heartbreaker, as well as 3min Ignis and CCL. We anticipate making much faster strides forward with additional dedicated players, and plan to spend some time finishing off our protos as/after we learn ToGC-25.

As was mentioned, we also have a very strong extended 10man team. We've got 14 flying Rusted Proto-Drakes so far, and we were closing in on Algalon before the focus shifted to creating two solid groups to tackle the Coliseum. We're currently 5/5 ToC and 4/5 ToGC in 10man.

We currently are 5/5 ToC-25, having killed each boss the night it came out (who didn’t?), excepting a bugged ID the week Anub came out. He's dead now though, and we're moving on to ToGC-25 with a vengance.

Loot Rules:
Unholy Aura uses the EPGP loot system in To(G)C. Its a recent switch, but has been working well, so it will likely be the loot system in future raids as well.
