[Alliance][Earthen Ring] Adjective Noun Raiding coalition recruiting for ToGC25
 

About Us
Adjective Noun Raiding (ANR) is a raid coalition on Earthen Ring that does 25-person content. Most of our members belong to smaller or less raid-focused guilds, and raid with ANR to do progression-focused raiding without giving up their social connections to their guilds. Before Wrath shipped, many of our raiders were part of the Bacon Bandits, Wildly Inept Raiding, MOARdps and/or SASU raid groups. We raid on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-11 Eastern time, and on Sundays from 7:30-11 Eastern time, emphasizing quality over quantity of raid time. Currently, we are working on ToC hard-modes in addition to farming ToC normal and Onyxia. Pre-ToC, we cleared Ulduar, Naxx and Sarth+3D.

ANR expects its raiders to be mature, able to participate in discussions about performance, and able to both give and accept criticism in a respectful fashion. Since we focus on 25-person raids, raiders are welcome to use their 10-person lockouts to raid with other groups, and there are a number of sub-groups within ANR that run 10-man raids. As might be expected from our group name and the name of the larger raiding community that we’re part of (Deadly Cupcakes), we try to keep a light-hearted feel to our raids without sacrificing progression.

About You
ANR is currently recruiting for all roles, with a particular interest in:

• Shaman of any spec
• Warrior or druid tanks
• Healers other than paladins
• Melee DPS, with a preference for classes that don’t wear plate because of our current raid composition
• Ranged DPS other than mages

Truly exceptional players of classes not listed are also encouraged to apply.

We have been running with a relatively small roster for our raid size, but are looking to expand slightly to ensure that we have 25 people available for each raid. Applicants should have schedules that conflict with no more than one of our raid nights, and should be available to raid at least two nights/week on a regular basis. We understand that real life can interfere with gaming and are willing to work around schedule conflicts as long as you are reliable when you are rostered.

Applicants are typically invited on a small number of trial raids to evaluate their performance and social fit. Raiders whose applications are accepted are added to our raiding roster and rostered evenly with the rest of the group. Because we are a coalition and not a raid guild, we cannot guarantee a guild home to cross-server applicants. However, many of the guilds that participate in ANR are accepting new members, and it is likely that we can find a home for someone who moves to Earthen Ring to raid with us.
