At this time, our raiding team is opening up recruitment for all classes, and re-emphasizing the practice of challenge applications.
As a raid leader, I respect performance, not seniority. I will bring the players which demonstrate the drive for success, and the ability to consistently deliver it. The purpose of challenge apps is to underline the point that at no time is under-performance acceptable.
This is not to say that we expect people never to make mistakes. What I do expect is that at no time will a player on our roster deliver a level of output, awareness, or performance which does not do themselves and the guild credit.
Have you ever looked at the multitude of players out there and wondered what would happen if all the those players that stand head-and-shoulders above the rest were joined together into one raid group and unleashed on the hardest content ever made? Those fights that no one even tries because they are deemed impossible. A group of some of the best players in the country brought together and motivated purely by the challenge of pushing themselves.
Ask yourself if that is the kind of team you want to be a part of.
Ask yourself if that is where you belong.
When Icecrown Citadel, the seat of the Lich King, the culmination of everything that has been achieved in this game until now, arrives, <Forlorn Legacy> will be there. We have set a standard for our guild, and we have set standards for ourselves. No more top 10, we are pushing for 1sts.
If you are not prepared to be a part of that, we will not waste your time.
If you are the kind of player that will accept nothing but the best, if you are ready to prove your mettle against the defining moment of all progression in this game. If everything since that first step into this game has led you to this challenge, we are waiting for you.
Ask yourself, are you prepared?
** WWS/WMO logs are advised for all classes and required for DPS **
We raid 6 nights a week (Fridays off), beginning at 6pm PST and call it quits typically around 9-10pm PST. This is our progression schedule, and at a reduced scale our schedule while content is on farm. We raid for efficiency, and pride ourselves on it, whether it means being capable of clearing all content in a night, and entire instance like Ulduar in 2 hours to include all hard modes, to making the best use of our progression time in the drive for victory.
When content is on farm, much work still remains. While a much-deserved break is given to restore our drive for the next set of content, there is still much to be done on raid days challenging ourselves with increasing feats and tests of our abilities. Our members are highly active outside of raid times as well, with many alt runs, pugs, pvp, and sales events.
In the current state of the game, gear is easy to get. While gearing up a player from scratch due to reroll or moving from an EU realm to the US is something we can and have entertained, it is your responsibility to prove to us that it is worth it.
If you do not know your theorycraft and how to min/max your class, do not waste your time.
If you have a gathering profession that does not help your character in a raiding environment, do not waste your time.
If your current gear, spec, glyphs, and knowledge does not demonstrate to us the highest level of competence, you are not the kind of player we are looking for.
If you are given a shot at recruiting, you will be tagged into FL and labeled as a Trial. You will spend five weeks there and be invited to as many raids as possible. You will constantly be evaluated in every setting, and are expected to behave as such.
After three-five weeks you will be subjected to an member vote. If you pass this vote you will be promoted to member, this includes guild repairs and access to part of the guild bank. Members are held to the same standards as an applicant in performance and attendance. You earn the right to wear our tag.
