About us:
Pandemonium is a casual raiding guild. We have a relatively light, 10.5 hour raiding schedule from 8-11:30 pm server (central) time, Tues-Thurs each week. Invites at 7:45.
“Casual” means we play the game to have fun. We are more concerned about enjoying raiding together than we are with racking up progression points. You won’t be seeing any
world or even server firsts in Pandemonium. You will see a group of people that like to raid.
“Raiding” means that for us, “fun” = seeing all the content. And, doing whatever it takes to achieve that. With only 3 raiding nights and 3-3.5 hours spent per night, we
simply can’t afford anything other than the most professional and committed approach during our raiding time if we want to meet our goal.
Many of our players have been doing the MMO thing for years—EQ, played WoW together since release, saw Naxx for the 2nd time, etc. A few have been in top 500 US guilds at some
point and have even had a US first kill or two under thier belts. We know that grind, and we are ready to move on from it. But, we don’t want to compromise on the quality of
people we play with.
If this sounds interesting to you…
We're currently looking for:
1x Warlock (Affliction or Destruction)
1x Boomkin
1x Tree
1x DPS DK (interest in being an OT a plus)
1x DPS Warrior
Current Farm content includes Reg 25m ToC, VoA, & Ony. Progression nights are devoted to tackling ToGC (working on beasts), while off-nights are spent leveling alts, PVPing,
running 10 mans, or farming old content based on interest. Our 10m has cleared ToGC (A Tribute to Mad Skill) and we are currently going back into U 10 to push the big shiny
red button that says, "Don't push this."
About you:
You will do all the usual things to be ready for a raid and are the sort of person that doesn’t need us to tell you what they are. You are also the sort of person that
understands what social fit is and will realize that not everyone, or even most, will be right for this guild.
You are a person who appreciates the difference between strategy and tactics, i.e., that we expect you to know that the snobolds need to die before you show up and, at the
same, time you can still expect to find out how you, personally, will contribute to ensuring that happens from the Raid Leader before the fight.
You have an intrinsic understanding of the need to respect the time of the other 9 or 24 people in your raid. You get that making the raid wait 10 minutes, for any reason, is
the equivalent of wasting 2 person hours.
You respect your guild tag. You get that WoW is a social game and that your in-game reputation—and by extension ours—has a disproportionate impact on our ability to get
groups, recruit players, trade with other guilds, etc. You expect a zero tolerance approach to creating drama in general or trade chat, amongst each other, or on the realm
forums.
So, now what?
Ask yourself a couple questions:
1) Are you typically available during all of our raid times? If “yes,” great. If “no,” stop here, you are not right for this guild. We don’t recruit benchwarmers. Every player
we bring in is a player we expect to raid with.
2) Are you currently applying to any other guilds? If yes, then best of luck but stop here, you are not right for this guild. Applying to a tight-knit guild is a time-
intensive process—we want to invest ours in people that are sure they want to invest in us.
If you are still interested, please fill out an application on our site at:
Pandemonìum of Muradin (I strongly recommend looking at the sample applications, both the good and bad,
that we have prepared here:
www.pandguild.com ~ View topic - Applying to Pandemonium). If you put time, thought and consideration into filling this out, you will receive the same
in return when we evaluate it. If you don’t, you won’t.
What’s the process?
Once we see an application, we will move it to the member’s section for comments from the team. If they feel you are someone they’d like to raid with, we will invite you as an
initiate for some trial runs. You will be eligible for loot during this period but members will be given priority. The initiate period typically lasts for 3-4 raid cycles, at
which point we will ask the members to vote. The options are yes, no, and needs more time. Feel free to discuss this process in detail with any officer.
