Recruitment – As of December 1st, 2010:
Open to all classes & specs

*We will consider ANY class/spec in preparation for the upcoming expansion.* IF you meet our minimum gear/experience requirements (please see information at the bottom of this page) we will give you a shot on a trial basis. If you perform well, interact and get to know our raiders, and help contribute to our guild's success we will consider offering you a full time raid spot after a minimum of FOUR weeks. We aren't interested in players that just log on to get loot - we want long term, committed players.

It should be known that we are extremely selective – we run a fairly small roster and don’t recruit players to be benched. Our turnover has been historically quite low, so we take apps very seriously. We pride ourselves on being able to retain our players for the long-term and run our guild so that raiders have a great time AND stay competitive.

The ideal candidate for a position at OOL is competitive by nature, experienced with the end-game content, patient, mature, able to follow directions, willing and able to learn, friendly and generous. The ability to attend 90%+ of scheduled raids is very important. Use of Ventrillo is mandatory, no exceptions. A working microphone is mandatory, no exceptions.

Is Out of Line the guild for you?

-Able to raid on a CST timetable – Tuesday through Thursday, 6:30 pm – 12 am, Sunday’s and Monday’s. This is our progression schedule for new content. When content is on farm, we scale back to a 1-2 day schedule.

-Can dedicate 3-5 nights for raiding, past 12am if necessary while learning new content

-Excellent situational awareness

-Come prepared for raids (consumables)

-Are dedicated, responsible, willing to learn

-Have end-game experience

-Can take constructive criticism

-Have ventrilo and a working mic (mandatory)

-Are Mature (18 or older)

Minimum Requirements:

All applicants MUST have at a minimum 11/12 Heroic 25 man Ice Crown boss kills, and Bane of the Fallen King completed.

If you meet the above requirements, we will then decide if your gear meets our minimum standards. Don’t bother applying if you don’t have the previously stated achievements.

2 viable Raiding professions and revered or better Wrath reputations.

If we are interested in your app, we will contact you for an in-depth Vent interview. Be prepared to answer some critical questions about your raid/achievement experience and your gear/enchanting/gemming choices. We will review EXCEPTIONAL applicants regardless of class openings. Please don’t bother us in-game if you don’t meet our gear requirements. We aren’t here to “gear you out.”
