Icecrown is fast on its way, bearing this in mind we are looking for a few keen and competent raiders to join our raiding team.

The Gauntlet is a well established guild on Nordrassil that has been around since 2005, which has also enjoyed success in raiding throughout content, having held a top 5 server position for the last year, and a top 5 alliance position over the last 3 years. We currently raid 4 nights per week:

Wednesday: 20:00 - 00:00 (server time).
Thursday: 20:00 - 00:00 (server time).
Friday: Day Off.
Saturday: Day Off.
Sunday: 20:00 - 00:00 (server time).
Monday: 20:00 - 00:00 (server time).
Tuesday: Day Off

We are looking to trial people who know their class inside out, who demonstrate a high level of play, who love progressing and working as part of a team to achieve this.

We are currently recruiting all classes and specs. We are especially interested in;
- Resto druid
- Mage
- Warlock

We will always consider exceptional applications regardless of class or spec.

What we expect of you:

- Demonstrate good knowledge and confident play of your class, this will be fairly evident from your application and/or trial
- Dedicate to 2-3 nights raiding a week (we officially raid 4 nights a week)
- Raiding experience from current content and previous content is a bonus
- Be prepared to turn up to each raid with a full set of consumables
- Aren't easily upset by wiping on new content
- As usual, gear isn't the most important factor of any player, it's the skill with which they play. Unfortunately gear does need to be of a certain level for you to be able to comfortably fit into our raids, so don't worry if you're not decked out in fully best in slot gear, but we do ask that you make the best out of the gear that you do have (which means properly enchanted and gemmed with the best that's available).

What you can expect from us:

- Dedication and Stability - we have had our ups and downs and each time come back stronger than before now having been established for over 4 years and still going strong.
- Raiding and Progress - we have always strived to meet a high standard of raiding, rising to the challenge of new content as it hits us.
- Fun - unfortunately we aren't paid to play this game, and sometimes raiding can seem more of a chore than a pleasure. in TG we have a lot of fun inside and outside of raid times, and from time to time we meet up for a pint to see the faces behind the characters.
- Help and Experience - we have a lot of very skilled and friendly players who are always willing to help you make the most of your character and play style through extensive theory crafting and log trolling.
- Stocked Guild Bank - we have a well equipped guild bank to help take the costs out of raiding

- Glory of the Ulduar Raider - excluding Fire Fighter, Knock Knock Knock on Wood, One Light in the Darkness and Algalon
- Trial of the Crusader - cleared
- Trial of the Grand Crusader - currently working on Anub'arak
- Fall of the Lich King - Currently working on Professor Putricide
