Who We Are

Proverbial Fire is a focused, progression-driven Horde guild located on the PvE server Turalyon in the Stormstrike battlegroup. We are recent transfers from a low-population server who came to Turalyon to take advantage of the much larger skilled potential recruitment pool. We transferred our core group of players and are moving back into 25-man hard mode raiding.

Proverbial Fire's open, progressive raiding style provides a communicative atmosphere for our engaging and competitive raiders. We enjoy quick progression in a relaxed, entertaining environment. We are interested in challenging ourselves; we don't need server acknowledgment on forums or in /trade to accomplish our goals and play the best we can.

Raid Schedule

Proverbial Fire is on an Eastern Standard Time server, and although we may start earlier and run later during progression, our standard 25-man raid times are as follows:

Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Monday: 7 pm until 11 pm

We stick to our raid schedule. Anything outside of 7-11 on our four raid nights a week is left up to the individual guild members, but 10-man HM participation is strongly encouraged.

Recruiting

We are actively recruiting exceptional players of any class. However, we are more in need of the following classes/specs:

➢ Druid | Need: Medium | Number: 1
Spec: Restoration | Balance. Looking for smooth and capable transitions between healing and DPS roles.

➢ Paladin | Need: High | Number: 1
Spec: Holy. Looking for skill/experience and a viable offspec.

➢ Priest | Need: High | Number: 1
Spec: Holy | Discipline. We need someone very familiar with both trees of healing.

➢ Shaman | Need: High | Number: 1
Spec: Elemental. Need totems.

➢ Warlock | Need: High | Number: 1
Spec: Affliction. Replacing a recently retired guild member.

Who You Are

You are...

☑ focused and dedicated. You come to raids prepared with consumables, your gear has the best enchants and socketing choices, and you have read, if not contributed to, our strategy sessions on guild forums, and have a focused, team oriented attitude.

☑ able to understand criticism and improve from suggestions. You readily take responsibility for your mistakes and are eager to improve your play style.

☑ able to communicate effectively and have a very good sense of humor.

☑ experienced and very familiar with progressive raiding. You may not have raided Vanilla, but you have extensive TBC and most definitely Wrath experience.

☑ versatile. You know your class, inside and out, and you are able to wrap your head around different raid roles effectively and efficiently.

☑ crazy like a fox. You enjoy fucking shit up, and coming up with new ways to do so, whether it entails World PvP or a boss strat that's completely off-the-charts nuts, but just...might...work.
