[Horde][Mal'Ganis] <Midnight> Progression Raiding with a West Coast schedule
We fill a niche of a progression oriented west coast raiding guild on Mal’Ganis. We raid Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM until 10:00 PM PST (8:30 PM CST to 12:00 AM CST). Our fundamental goal is to experience and beat content while relevant and in a timely fashion. We desire to work efficiently and utilizing our raid times while balancing the forces that exist outside of World of Warcraft. Our members are mature and career oriented individuals (we generally range in age from the college student to the working professional), and as such we understand that events other than WoW will at time take precedence over raiding. We strive to make the most of our raid nights and have an active raiding oriented community on off-nights where we commune, run PuGs, prepare for raid nights, and/or enjoy playing alternate characters.
Who are you?
We seek players that are able to play multiple classes and specs at a high level. Our desire is to keep a relatively small roster with highly competent players able to fill roles when needed. The ability to play and keep a toon geared at a high level ensures that we have a mutual dedication to each other to see our guild succeed. Do not deter! If you enjoy playing your one character and maximizing them to the fullest, then you are in good company. We seek to work with our members to fulfill their individual goals while maintaining focus on goals as a guild.
You enjoy theorycrafting, or at the very least reading other people's thoughts on specs, skill/ability usage, and gearing. Coming to raids prepared for the encounter and putting forth a consistently high effort with focus on the key elements of the fight is second nature to you as a raider. We're seeking players who enjoy the game (especially the PvE aspect of it) and want to be surrounded with players with similar goals.
Feral Druid - The ideal candidate is a Cat with Bear offspec. We're looking for someone who can put out solid DPS and provide buffs for our other melee when necessary; and should the situation present itself can tank or offtank (for example a third tank on Lord Marrowgar).
Holy Paladin - Preferably you've specialized in Holy Light and gear for Int/Haste and gem for Int, but also willing to talk to those who prefer a Flash of Light centric build with high spell power (or being able to do both really well and having gear sets to support them would be a huge plus).
Resto Druid - Master of hots. Since we run with several shaman and priests we're not looking for a GHT spec. Being flexible and adjusting your spec and glyphs for each encounter is a huge plus, especially for things like Anub'arak in ToGC 25.
Warlocks - We have a couple openings for Warlocks, who can play any raiding spec well. If you enjoy Demonology (rDPS) or Affliction that is a bonus.
How do we handle loot?
Our perspective on loot is that it is a means to defeat content. We actively attempt to distribute loot based upon the best allocation of resources to maximize the potential success. We do this by utilizing a loot council of officers and looking at past loot versus attendance.
