Who are we?

Legendary is a small, tightly knit group of mature, talented players. As a guild, we constantly strive for raiding excellence in order to achieve our ultimate goal: effective progression through endgame content.

Here in Legendary, we raid smarter, not harder. It has always been our goal to accomplish in three nights of raiding what other guilds accomplish in five. Towards that end, we insist on exceptional individual and team performance, raiding and fight knowledge, and an ability to learn new content quickly and adapt on the fly.

Why only three days? Legendary is composed mainly of gamers who have active and busy real lives. We have many raiders who are married, have children, or have focuses in their lives other than WoW. The three day schedule was selected to accommodate our members' busy lifestyles. While the slimmed down schedule is easier to maintain, it also makes each night of raiding more valuable; our raiders appreciate that as they research, practice, and prepare for raids.

What are we looking for?

Legendary takes its raiding standards very seriously. Even though we like to have a good time during raids, everyone in the guild understands that the fun stops when the fail starts, and that precision execution has to be maintained throughout the entire evening. We're all in this to have fun, but without solid performance, raiding isn't likely to be fun for anybody. Legendary is seeking raiders who understand that.

We expect our raiders to be able to identify, analyze, and learn from their own mistakes. Legendary depends upon its raiders being mature enough to recognize their own weak points and work to strengthen them. As a friendly guild, we give our raiders every opportunity to sort out their shortfalls, but a stubborn raider who refuses to improve where necessary will not be accommodated.

Finally, we expect our members to represent themselves and the guild in a mature and professional manner. Members of Legendary are neither arrogant, nor mean. We treat each other and the people outside the guild that we come across with respect. Maturity and decorum have been guiding principles of Legendary since the beginning. Over time they have kept the guild relatively free of drama. Additionally, they have helped to forge not only a raid team, but a group of close friends who work together to kick ass.

Why are we recruiting?

Due to real life issues springing up for several members, Legendary has gone through a bit more membership turnover than is usual for us. This has resulted in a fairly sluggish level of progression which we now mean to correct.

Who are we recruiting?

DPS, Healers and a tank who can avoid standing in fire and still do their jobs.

When do we raid?

Legendary has a fixed 3 day raiding schedule and expect commitment to that schedule from our raiders. We currently raid Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday nights. Invites start at 7:30pm and first pull is at 8:00. We typically wrap things up around 11:30pm EST.

What about loot?

Legendary distributes loot via an Officer Loot Council. The guild leadership decides to whom each piece of loot during a raid will be awarded; variables considered in the decision process include, but are not limited to: largest upgrade, time since last received loot, and level of attendance.

What about 10man raids?

There are multiple 10man raids that run on off nights and after hours. These raids range from the casual (and occasionally intoxicated) to the extremely hardcore. Legendary's leadership does not officially administrate the 10man raids; however, the officers are often able to assist guild members seeking to join or assemble a 10man raid by putting them in contact with the raids' organizers, or connecting them with other Legendary members who are interested in forming a group.

What about the server?

Eonar is a medium population PvE server centrally located in Dallas with very little lag, no queue, and a solid economy. The Alliance outnumbers the horde by a slight margin. It is part of the Vindication battlegroup.
