[Horde][Balnazzar]<Casually Serious>8 hr/wk,11/12ICC - DD,CD,GC - HPaladin, RangedDPS

Who we are:

Casually Serious is a guild for stellar players who cannot or do not want to commit to the time-intensive raid schedules of traditional "hardcore" guilds. If you want to kill Arthas, but your newly acquired significant other doesn't understand that "lame fantasy thing you do," then we might be what you're looking for.

We raid Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-11 PST, even after patch releases and during progression races. That's right, just 8 hours a week. Accordingly, we run a very tight (30ish) roster with the expectation that our members achieve near 100% attendance. The guild was formed to take advantage of some of the "casual friendly" changes that were brought by WotLK, and we have successfully pushed the limits of what can be achieved by great players on a "lolcasual" schedule. We're 11/12 in ICC. Arthas is dead in ten man content and we are in P3 for 25 man content. We have the Grand Crusader, Celestial Defender, and Death's Demise titles, and were top 250 US for all of these achievements despite our light schedule.

Progression nuts and bolts can be found at: WoW Guild Casually Serious :: WoWProgress - World of Warcraft Rankings and History

Loot is handled by /random with a "don't be a douche" clause, and loot council override for legendaries and key items.

Balnazzar is a low-pop server centrally located in Dallas with no queue, a suprisingly good economy, and a healthy battlegroup.

And feel free to visit our website at Casually Serious.

Who we expect you to be:
Applicants will only be considered if they demonstrate above-average intelligence, exemplary skill, a thorough understanding of game mechanics, a high level of maturity, a strong command of the English language, and above all a complete and total lack of epeening, douchebaggery, asshattery, and anything else that would make you unpleasant to be around. We all get paid to deal with idiots, why should we pay to spend our leisure time with them as well?

We're currently looking for one Holy Paladin and one outstanding ranged dps. We will always consider exceptional applicants of any class.

If that sounds appealing, and you meet our admittedly high expectations, then I can unequivocally promise you that Casually Serious will be the best online nerd experience you will ever have the pleasure of being a part of.

How to apply:
Apply via our forums (Casually Serious • Index page), or send an email to chupavida at gmail.com with:

Ez-mode Application Template

- Armory link:

- Any lvl 80 alts worth mentioning?

- What are your playing hours?

- What is your guild history?

Feel free to hit us with a wall of text here.

- What is your prior endgame raiding experience?

Go ahead and skip this if you covered it in the previous question.

- Why do you want to leave your current guild?

- Why do you want to join this guild?

Have a good reason. Lewts is not an acceptable answer.

- Why should we choose you over other qualified applicants?

- Tell us a bit about yourself (especially anything that could affect your long-term ability to raid)

- Describe your computer (Processor, GPU, Ram) and your internet connection (ISP, speed, reliability).

- Please list references who would be willing to vouch for you.

- Please list some out-of-game contact information.

- Please provide a current WoL parse for the class/spec you are applying for.

Not really optional. If you don't have one, make an effort to get one.

- Please include a link to a screenshot of your current UI.

Can you commit to near 100% attendance to scheduled raids?
(Tues/Thurs from 7-11 PST)
(if the answer is no, then don't bother applying)

[Insert additional awesomeness here]

Also, feel free to talk to one of our officers in game.
