About Us:
Fate is a guild native to Dalvengyr, a medium-population PvP server. In some form or another, the guild has been around since 2006. Many of our members have raided together since The Burning Crusade, a few since Vanilla.
We’re a progression guild with a social atmosphere: we have a large amount of casuals, composed of ex-raiders, friends, and family.
Progression:
11/12 ICC25 Heroic
11/12 ICC10 Heroic (Bloodbathed Frostbrood Vanquishers)
Raid Times:
Five days: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 PM-12:00 AM EST (server)
We sometimes take raid nights off depending on how quickly we get through content. Recently, we've been raiding 3-4 nights a week (including 10 mans). We also hold non-mandatory alt/casual runs during off-nights.
Currently Recruiting:
Healers with appropriate gear for hard-modes.
A Frost DK/Enhancement Shaman.
Recruitment closed at the moment for other melee DPS and hunters. Exceptions made for amazing applicants.
Experienced players of all other classes/specs are encouraged to apply.
Loot System:
Fate uses a loot council system to distribute gear. We rarely (if ever) have loot-related problems. Applicants should not, of course, expect priority on any gear, but established members often pass on many pieces of loot.
What we expect from applicants:
Research: People who know how to play their class and understand the strategies for boss fights.
Communication, Honesty, Reliability: We expect players to be online for raids and let us know in advance if you will be absent.
Hardware: Stable internet connection is a must, along with decent computer. We use ventrilo, and a microphone is greatly preferred (even if you rarely talk).
Sense of Humor: Guild chat and ventrilo are pretty lively, and many different points of view and life experiences are represented in Fate.
Thick Skin: We sometimes lob criticism at players. Comments and such tend to be constructive, especially at the beginning. We don't abuse people (it's just a game), but players are expected to learn from and correct mistakes in a timely fashion.
What you can expect from us:
Support from the guild: Relatively cheap consumables, guild repairs (for full Members and above), use of the guild bank.
Progression: We’re dedicated to clearing content in a timely fashion
