We are currently 7/12 25m and 11/12 10m. We have Arthas to 60% on 10m and are pretty sure we can get him next time with our healers being more prepared for Soul Reaper. We also nearly 1 shot Putricide on 25m with 24 people, 6 of which being pugs. If 1 of the pugs knew how to run away from the orange slime we more then likely would have 1 shot him.
In summation, we are a very experienced guild that just needs more people focused on progression to conquer 25m and roll hard modes.
History and Mission:
Most of us have been playing since Pre BC where we experienced everything up to AQ40 and Naxxaramas. In BC our core came together to form a guild that downed everything up to and including Illidan. At the end of BC to the start of Wrath, things came to play and we ended up having to go our separate ways.
During Wrath we joined some of the top guilds in the world and experienced everything from “Alone in the Darkness” to “Heroic 25 Anub.” We stayed in contact with each other though and have come together again to form a guild that is dedicated to being on the fore front of hard mode progression. We want to experience and conquer everything this game has to offer.
Recruitment:
Our raiders always go that extra mile to perform their best. We are a raiding guild first and foremost and do not have time to teach people how to raid. We are looking for team mates, not pupils. Our raiders come prepared for all raids (both farm and progression) with consumables, have all their gear enchanted and gemmed and do not need to be asked to do so.
We are always recruiting exceptional players. If you believe you can out perform our current raiders we encourage you to app. Applicants will go through a month long trial period in which they will be given feedback based on their performance and attitude. At the end of the trial period the guild will determine if you are a good addition or not. I stress that not everyone makes the cut, we hold our standards high.
Conduct and Atmosphere:
Despite our focus on end game progression we do not forget that what truly makes this game fun are the people we share our experiences with. We are a group of tight-knight friends and know most by our real names.
Every year we try to meet up at Blizzcon for an extended weekend of fun and drinking.
We encourage the healthy competition that comes with raiding, and I stress “healthy.” We do not condone gloating or forum trolling. We expect everyone to treat each other with respect.
Raid Schedule:
Dragonblight is a Pacific time realm and our raids are set in PST
Sunday: 5:30pm-10:00pm
Monday: 5:30pm-10:00pm
Tuesday: 5:30pm-10:00pm
Wednesday: 5:30pm-10:00pm
Thursday: 5:30pm-10:00pm
Friday: Alt raid/free day
Saturday:Alt raid/free day
Applicants are expected to maintain a 90% raid attendance. We understand things happen and real life comes first and we do not expect people to quit their job or dump their girlfriend/boyfriend to meet our attendance requirements. We are a raiding guild though, and if you feel as if you can’t meet these requirements then we are not the guild for you. If you will not be able to make a raid, we ask that you inform an officer. This is a simple task. As I said, we expect everyone to treat each other with respect, so if you will be missing a raid you will be expected to show your fellow guildies respect by letting us know.
Loot:
We use a loot council/EPGP system that ensures loot distribution is always fair and goes to those that are the most deserving. Our loot decisions are based off of attendance, raid performance, previous loot received and seniority.
Our distribution method ensures that there are a minimal amount of rots and that people do not pass on small upgrades.
