Dark Militia was created on October 2007 and is currently the oldest guild on Shu'halo.

Age & Maturity:

Unlike some guilds who may have age restrictions, we believe that everyone has a chance to prove their worth. Although most of us are adults, we still know how to have fun.

Structure:

We're not your typical "flavor of the month" guild. We exist to provide every one of our members what they expect to get out of the game and in some cases, even more. This is achieved by having a strong foundation. Everything from guild policies to the very officers that enforce or teach them make this guild what it is today. By having effective policies and persistent officers, we can bring out the best in the game while still being fun and fair to everyone.

Skill and Motivation:

We expect you to know your class, be informed of boss strategies, and excel when in action. If you come to raids unprepared and you’re playing poorly, you are not living up to our expectations. We understand that everyone starts somewhere; we don’t expect that you be the best geared player before you join, only that use what you have to its fullest.

Conduct:

Dark Militia has a low tolerance for drama. We are here to have fun and play a game. We expect those that become a part of the team to treat your guild members and others with respect. Everyone who wears our tag represents our guild as a whole, so we expect members to treat those outside the guild with some level of respect and tolerance as well. We aren’t asking you to be perfect, but use some common sense when it comes to interacting with people inside and outside the guild.

Attendance:

We want our active raid members to be able to maintain an 80% attendance with us. It’s impossible to make every single raid and we don’t expect you to do so, but when you do miss, we want you to give us notice in advance. We know real life happens at times and we always try to do the best we can to work around it with you, but please remember that we depend on our raiders so please give us a heads up when real life comes calling.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for solid players that learn from their mistakes and put in the time and effort to make sure their character is the best it can be.

You should be the type of person that enjoys the game as a whole, and plans on being an active and long lasting contribution to our guild. We know real life comes at you when you're least expecting it, but we just ask that you be the kind of person that isn't afraid to let us know when things aren't going well for you so we may have some time to react and make some changes if need be. We're not really keen about players that get on, raid, and then log off never to be seen until the next raid. We like people who are social and enjoy having fun.

Unlike other hardcore raiding guilds we are more laid back and social. If you're looking for a guild who is capable of achieving things without all the yelling, arguing, and strict seriousness in vent or guild chat then chances are we're probably a good fit for you.

How to Apply
Go to the Dark Militia website and do the following:

1. Click "Apply to Guild" on the left side of the screen under Membership.
2. Create a new Guild Launch account if you don't already have one, login if you do.
3. Check "Yes" on the next page and click continue.
4. You will then be brought to our application.
5. Fill out our application and click "Submit Guild Application".
6. You should now be at the confirmation page.
7. Keep checking back on our forums to see the status of your application.
