About Us

NME is Elitist Jerks’ more casual raid group. We are casual in the sense of the time we put into raiding each week, but our goals are the same as groups that raid twice as much as we do. As a raid group we have been around since The Burning Crusade. Most of our members have been around WoW since retail. Our raid group is made up of a few members of Elitist Jerks’ progression raid group, former members of the progression raid group, top players who transferred to Mal’Ganis to raid with us, as well as quality players who have proven themselves on Mal’Ganis. Only a handful of our members aren’t guild members of Elitist Jerks at this point, and NME raiders who prove to be quality members of the group as well as the Elitist Jerks community will be considered for an invitation to join Elitist Jerks.

We raid Thursday and Sunday nights with a very rare third day. Raids begin at 7:30 CST and run to 11:00 or 11:30 CST.

We are looking for raiders at all positions to challenge our current members for raid spots, and deepen our roster as we head into Mists of Pandaria.

About You

We are looking for quality players who are mature, exceptional listeners, humble, patient, and continuously looking for ways to improve. Because we only raid two nights, we are looking for raiders who show up on time, if not early, ready to stay focused until the raid is finished, and don’t make the same mistake twice.

Your performance on raid nights must be good, but your attitude and demeanor must also be a fit. You can be an amazing player, but if you don’t fit within the group, you won’t be with us long. You also must be able to look at the big picture on each encounter to help the group work through each challenge.

We are looking for players who take a sense of ownership in the raid group’s success and do what needs to be done without needing to be asked. People who demonstrate this hunger and "team player" spirit will distinguish themselves.

You should be active on these forums, current with theorycraft and best practices for your class. Raiding with our group is an opportunity to be known in high-end progression circles and make a name for yourself if you have ambitions of raiding with high-end progression groups. If you can’t perform with us, you won’t make it with them.

Guild chat can be very much R-rated at times, but it's hardly a defining characteristic of the guild. If you're an exceptional player who has perhaps felt that some of the other endgame guilds weren't quite the social atmosphere you had in mind, we may be what you're looking for”.

We are currently looking to bolster our ranks with DPS heading into Mists. Specifically Ret Pally, DK, Warlock but quality DPS of all classes will be considered.
