Obscured by Clouds is currently looking for a few interesting people to liven up guild chat. We do not see ourselves as hardcore raiders although we do run a weekly 10-man ICC and you can feel free to look us up if our gearscores matter to you. Your gearscore does not matter to us.

We are: grad students, homemakers, engineers, cooks, techs… people.
We have: men, women, couples, singles, and “it’s just complicated”
We are all: over 18 and you must be too.

We are not primarily recruiting raiders. We are primarily recruiting people who manage to get along with our guild leaders’ sense of humor. Raiding with us is a fringe benefit (and not required).

You might fit in if you are flaming and/or liberal and/or enjoy conversation, find trade chat irritating, have off-the-wall hobbies or can bribe us with good recipes.
You might not fit in if you have been told your use of leet speak gets on people’s nerves. We do not have many nerves left between us.

Our guild members generally know a great deal about game mechanics and are happy to discuss them. We do expect you will either know or be in the process of actively learning how to get the most out of your class. We expect you to not be lazy when we are working on new content. Snarky is acceptable. Standing in fire will be mocked.

In short, we are a guild which has been around since Jan. 2006 and needs to replace a few folks who have drifted away over the years so that we can maintain critical mass to continue the witty banter in /g. Taurens and queers welcome. Puns tolerated.
