Problem with special characters in names for armory imports

I am having the same issue that Etikilam and asinine have had with receiving a "ERROR: Unable to retrieve stats from armory" and subsequent "file not found" message when trying to import a name with special characters. I found that the URL syntax for the special character is different between your import and if I just do a search for my name in the armory, and if I do a straight search my toon comes up fine. See example below:

So it seems it may be as simple as just changing the syntax on your call.

Holy crap huge update.

Switched everything over to 3.0.8

Rewrote the proc system to be more accurate (this is important).

Known issues:

Armory import doesn't work on some slots
Armory import also shows obviously incorrect results after one import, have to click calculate again.
Some enchants/gems not supported.

I've been at it all weekend so hopefully get those fixed soon.

The page doesn't seem to load quite right for me anymore.

The gear section formatting sort of looks more like hyperlinks now, and I can't seem to open individual slots. Hitting the "Open All" link will open them all but the formatting has them taking up the whole page. Also, I cannot open the Consumables, Buffs/Debuffs and Encounter Data panes anymore.

Armory import seemed to work, but trying to calculate a Summary graph resulted in:

Warning: Division by zero in /var/www/public_html/magegraf.com/public/includes/cast.php on line 613

This is repeated a hundred times or so, then the graphs display at the bottom normally.

I get the same results in both Firefox 3.0.5 and IE 7.0.6001.18000 (64-bit).

hey Vontre I play druid usually but since 3.08 went live i decided to test death knight talent specs using your tool. I think it is intentional but your model doesn't use dancing rune weapon at least it is not in the cast sequence. I can only imagine the lack of this causes blood to be low, and i know from the little bit i do about death knights that blood is currently broken but i think dancing rune weapon needs a method to be included.

DRW is counted as an effect, it doesn't appear in the spell cast sequence.

Incorrect values ad other anomallys

Hey Vontre,

I was getting dps calculations that were not matching what I was doing in game even following the rotation.

Anyways i was checking over some of the numbers in debug mode and noticed that the calculations automaticly included mark of the wild, even though its not an option in the buff window.

Also with my particle gear import it doesn't show the bracers, even though the stats show up close but they are over by 3 str.

Also checked over the bladed armor values and it says 450ap =>795.28 but i came up with 373.72.

Also I believe Its doubling up on shadow of death and ravenous dead.

Horn of winter is 155 agi and str, not 178.25.

Not tryn to be hateful, just wanting to help make sure the calculations come out better and more accurate.

Would it be possible to add an option to cancel Freezing Fog procs (or simply not model them)? I know in theory it generally increases DPS to use the Rime proc and replace the HB with a IT+PS, but in practice it's nigh-impossible to pull off without screwing up the rotation (one of the big reasons I think a lot of us were looking forward to no-cd HB, since then it wouldn't really impact the rotation). This is for DW DPS, of course. I'd also be curious to see just how much of a difference it is between the two, in case it is enough to make it worthwhile to try and master a rotation without /cancelling the Rime procs.

EDIT: Also, one quick note - is haste being transferred to the pets? Looking at the spell details for the Gargoyle Strikes and the Auto Attack (I'm assuming the one at the bottom is the Ghoul's Auto-attack) I didn't see any benefit from haste rating nor the +haste from Unholy Presence. It's known that these transfer to the Ghoul, unless there's a display issue on the pet panel (as it reflects the additional haste), and it's believed that it transfers to the Gargoyle as well (but I don't recall where that proof would be at).

One thing I found interesting is after importing a custom spec. 51/0/20. It is wanting to use death strike instead of obliterate in the cast sequence. Obliterate shows up in the spell detail as well as rune strike.

I believe it already does ignore Rime procs.

Will there be a possible update for a no disease blood spec?
This is the spec for no diseases.
The rotation is quite simple and just requires OB, OB, HS, HS, Rune dump, HS, HS, HS, HS, HS, HS, Rune dump, Repeat.

The program doesn't import toons with special characters in their names.

e.g. my character is solîd (i is alt+140) on shadowsong and i get an "armory error" although the armory is working.

Similar problem here.

Happens when I tick all 4 specs. Unticking one (blood unholy) fixes the problem. Adding a custom spec and having 4 specs selected also brings up this error message.

I don't have a way to get around the memory problem right now. Just don't try to calculate a bunch of specs at the same time. =)

I had to temporarily disable the gear selector and armory import because they are hugely broken right now. Not sure what's been going on there.
