Considering that the Feral Tank module has calculations set for after the 3.0.8 patch, I would guess that the new release will be shortly after it goes live.

Hey, I think this has been mentioned but i wanted to make sure. On the current version of Rawr, I cant get any values for armor penetration. As a druid i have been using RAWR for awhile and am familiar enough to know how to go in and edit individual items. However even after manually adding armor penetration to the titanium impact neck and ring, it doesnt show up on the item icon when trying to compare them to other items, nor does it change its place in the item rankings. I even went back in to the editing portion to confirm that i had updated the items armor penetration correctly.
This seems to be a DK only problem because it works fine when i correct those items for my druid.
Lastly I would like to thank you and all the others that contribute to making Rawr such a badass program. That said, could a little bit more emphasis be put on the verifying the correct stats on items it compares. I know the math behind the scenes is the very important but its hard to get a good comparison when, even after using the item updater, i find myself constantly having to check every piece of gear to make sure it has the correct values.

It seems to be lacking some of the tradeskill options. Like the prismatic gem slots you can add to wrist/gloves/belt through blacksmithing.

new version out that addresses the DK-paladin armour bug and a few others.
Recent Changes:
v2.1.5:
Items now show their item level in their tooltips.
Armor and Bonus Armor are now handled separately.
Performance and crash fixes to the Optimizer.
Added mousewheel support for the charts.
Added buffs for Mixology.
Added support for Blacksmithing sockets (reload character from armory, or load character from 2.1.4 and remove extra gem from items).
Added a context menu item to quickly evaluate the upgrade value of the clicked item.
Added support for updating the entire item cache from Wowhead.
Added parsing for Greatness cards.
Rawr.Bear: Now includes correct calcultions for armor in patch 3.0.8. Fix for damage reduction calculations for different level targets. Added support for Mongoose. Fixed calculations for Idol of Terror. Added support for soft-capping Survivability.
Rawr.Cat: Fix for damage reduction calculations for different level targets. Added support for Mongoose, Berserking, Trauma, and Mangle from another feral. Fixed calculations for Idol of Terror.
Rawr.HolyPriest: Added Arcane Torrent for blood elves. Support for more set bonuses.
Rawr.Mage: Added custom graphs for stats scaling. Supports extra crit rate from encounter effects (ie, Loatheb). Fix for new cycles ignoring flame caps. Support for reconjuring mana gems.
Rawr.ProtWarr: Adjusted miss rate from 9% to 8%, and dodge rate from 6.5% to 6.4%.
Rawr.ShadowPriest Added Arcane Torrent for blood elves. Fixed display issue with Misery/Faerie Fire hit. Support for more trinket effects. Support for more set bonuses.
Rawr.Tankadin: Fix for block rating conversion.
Rawr.DPSDK: Fixes for a few calculations. Fixes for item relevancy to show DK set items, not paladin ones.
Rawr.RestoSham: Updated a variety of calculations. Not fully updated yet, but included in this release of Rawr so that you can see how we're progressing. We still advise using Rawr.RestoSham in conjunction with other theorycrafting tools.

I was able to fix some of the more basic stuff. Here's what's still on my table:
-Custom rotations does not work (I know the problem, requires some re-engineering)
-DPS split between abilities is a little off *FIXED
-Gargoyle is not implemented *FIXED
-Ghoul is not implemented (Going to need some numbers from the spreadsheet folks here)
-Certain fields in paper doll are a bit off Some Fixed
-No glyphs *FIXED
-No Sigils are properly implemented yet (Awareness *should* work)
-DKs treated as paladins for set bonuses *FIXED
-DK set bonuses not implemented
-Fix a few things still pointing to level 70 *FIXED
-Increasing target level increasing dps *FIXED, but may not have went live

Downloaded 2.1.5 today and instead of showing Paladin T7 set pieces, Rawr is now not displaying any T7 set pieces unless you already have a T7 piece in that slot.
I have T7 chest and hands, and they are correctly displayed in the appropriate spot on the list. However, the T7 helm and legs are nowhere to be found on the list.
If I create a new template, none of the T7 pieces are being displayed in either the upgrade list or the gear selection list that pops up when you click on a slot.

It looks like the general agreement is that the melee single-wield / specials hit-cap against bosses 3 levels higher is now 8%. Has the DK module been updated to reflect that?

I was able to get the missing T7 pieces by doing a "Load Possible Upgrades from Armory"
You can also manually add the item using the itemID but I didn't quite figure out how to make those show up in the rankings before I tripped over "load armory upgrades" thing.
One request I'd like to make, but this is probably a Rawr thing in generaly, would be to toggle off inclusion of the JC only gems in the gear comparison list.

If you go up to the Filter, and uncheck "Jewelcrafting", it won't show you the JC only BoP gems

Does DKSDK support DW builds atm?
I load up my armory and for some reason in the MH weapon listing it shows no rating bars and the list of weapons is way off, its showing some lvl 79 or so Green as top but, again there are no raiting graphs to show anything. The OH weapon listing is fine, atleast it displays properly.
Also the other Rune enchants like CG and RI aren't implemented for DW as those are usual for OH use.
I'm guessing that Rime and KM procs aren't factored into this either... as I see no check box for them.

Rime and KM procs are calculated automatically, you should see them in the damage breakdown. I'll look into the DW issues; TBH I didn't put much effort into checking if DW worked as it wasn't a priority of mine when I was originally making it. Hopefully I'll have DW and rotation stuff fixed in the near future. Thanks for the input.

Is it correct that Cryptfiends Bite is superior to Betrayer of Humanity with full raid buffs and a 21/50 2 Handed Frost build. Is this right?
Edit: It appears that Cryptfiends Bite overtakes Betrayer of Humanity right around at 5000 AP, which of coarse means in a 25 man raid if this is correct CFB > BoH.
Can anyone provide a link to explain weapon Nominalization to me? The only reason I can see it putting CFB ahead of BoH is the weapon speed, but both FS and OB are Nominalized. I guess I just do not understand how that works.

I was also getting some very strange results for main head weapons. Betrayer of Humanity was always on top, but the rest shuffled around seemingly every time I loaded the program.
This does lead me to believe that Betrayer of Humanity, while best for us *now*, might be quickly replaced in Ulduar even with a small jump in ilvl.

The target level now correctly goes up to 83, but the armor maxes out at 10,000. I believe the boss armor value for wotlk is 13,083 (quickly grabbed from the bear model, but I know there is a thread around here somewhere about it).

To work around this, simply set target armor to 9158 and turn sunders off.

This doesn't work for me, with 2.1.5.
Being able to filter on gem quality would be quite helpful, as the gear is often also gemmed with the epic quality gems that don't yet exist on live. I'd prefer to not have to edit every item that has a socket.

Betrayer is itemized for hunters... if there was a 222.9 dps weapon in ulduar with strength/crit instead of agi/AP, it would likely be a lot better. That being said, I'm told the math might be off for MH dps, especially in DW. I updated the current bug list on the main page.

Frost swings wildly in preference depending on your other gear so if Cryptfiend's has hit, and you need hit, it'll show as better than Betrayer sometimes. For what it's worth, as of last night, I think I still saw Betrayer as my top option.

Most of the tooltips are wrong, as the ghoul has got some other mechanics
Strength = (331 + StrengthDK * (0,7 * (1 + RavenousDead * 0,2)+ 0,2 (with Glyph of the Ghoul)) + HoW + MotW) * (1 + 0,1 (with BoK))
Ghoul gets
- 70% Str without RD / Glyph
- 90% Str with Glyph, w/o RD
- 112% Str with RD, w/o Glyph
- 132% Str with RD + Glyph
MotW/BoK not tested, but should affect ghoul's strength "twice" as HoW (on the DK, then on the ghoul)
Agi = (856 + HoW + MotW) * (1 + 0,1 (with BoK))
AP = (Strength + 836 + BoM) * (1 + 0,1 (if AP-Multi))
-> 1 Str = 1 AP
Attackspeed = 2.0 / (1 + HasteDK)
(Haste inherited from DK = affected by haste rating, haste aura, melee haste aura, imp. icy talons)
DamagePerHit = 101,1 + AP / 16.666 * 2
- affected by mob armor, 2% physical debuff
- 16.6 AP = 1 DPS
ClawHit = 150% * DamagePerHit
chance to hit inherited from DK
crit is about 10% (seems to be not affected by gear/inherited), should be affected by crit aura + crit debuff
glancings as usually
dodge / parry seem not to be affected by expertise
Claw Rate is about every 3.8s (could be 4s, don't know if I've made a mistake)
Claw chance to hit seems a little higher as white hit, don't know why yet

How exactly do I get Rawr to stop displaying epic gems that aren't in the game yet? I tried screwing with the default gems but there was no way to undo it and I ended up recopying the original data from the zip.
