I was asking if that was posible for ages and never got any answers, if this works you're my hero!

P.S. I still need help with how to solve target buff auras in my unit frames *wink wink*

It's not the question of addon, but aesthetics, dunno where to put it and everything is getting too cluttered as it is.

Does anybody know of a simple bar capable of showing just my runic power? I prefer the default unit frames and the more I play my DK (not my main) the more I realize that I am not using my runic power to its full potential and it is constantly overflowing. If I can move the bar to a more centric spot I think I can solve this problem.

I know certain unit mods allow me to put a power bar wherever I want, and some of the rune watcher mods in the thread have a runic power bar attached, but is there just a stand alone runic power bar mod? Or do any of the rune mods allow just the bar to be displayed?

Addons include:

Pitbull
Satrina Buff Frames
DBM
MiksScrollingBattleText
kgPanels
Omen
Recount
RatingBuster
Chatter
BaudBag
Bartender
ButtonFacade
MagicRunes
ClassTimers
SexyMap

I have a couple extra bartender bars that I have hidden for aesthetic purposes. I have been using the same keybinds forever so I know them by heart anyway.

Mods involved
Pitbull 4: The raid and player/target frames
Bartender4: The Button Bars, there's 2 more hidden on the right with a bagbar, you can just see em.
Omen: Threat Meter
Recount: Hidden on the left
Classtimer: Disease and other timers
oRA2: Raid Timers
SCT: Combat Text
SexyMap: The map that's all sexy
Satrina Buff Frame: Buffs and Debuffs on me
DeathKnight.info Runes: Rune cooldowns and disease cooldowns on extra targets

I like to keep the screen coverage minimal, and this is it at max coverage, so as you can see, i still have a fair bit of real estate free.

So I am FINALLY getting around to doing this... First is a clean SS of my UI.

Addons:
MSBT
Sexymap
Satrina Buff Frames
DockingStation (Broker based Bar at top)
Pitbull
DKIRunes and DKIDiseases
Dominos
Phanxchat
Grid (Not shown, thinking of switching to something else)
Power Auras Classic

Now for the details.
Basically I feel it is important to have a clean UI when playing a DK. Playing a DK is very involved since you have to monitor so many different things. I placed my own UF in the middle of the screen so that there is symmetry on the screen. Below that is my pet's health. My target is obviously above my UF, and above that would be the ToT in the same setup as the pets bar. Above that is my runes and then my diseases. The white around the diseases is Power Auras, tracking my Unholy Blight. The blue around my UF is for when Bone Shield is up, and the white below it is for when horn of winter is up. A lot of people have said earlier that placing all important things in one area makes it so that you pigeon hole yourself into one area of the screen. I do not find this... it helps me monitor all important things at once in my eyes. Also, buffs for my target are shown on the left of the frame, debuffs on the right. Comments?

Then why do you have that SCT spam on your screen? I see that a lot on other players, too. You don't need to know how much damage your autoattack does, when FF ticks or how big your crits are. It does nothing but distract. I have almost everything disabled, just stuff like immunities or low health are enabled.

I am not distracted by it. I actually like it the way it is. It's MSBT, and it throttles everything so that it is less spammy than SCT.

Magic Runes has a power bar built into it. you can turn off all bars except the runic power bar if you only want that

Here is my UI:

I use Rogue Power Bars for my diseases/debuffs and shorter buffs (procs, heroism). I find them much better than class timers, as you can color individual buffs/debuffs any way you want. You just need to open up the default buff/debuff files and remove the rogue related ones.

I keep everything in the middle of the screen, as having a 24" monitor makes it annoying if i have to look somewhere else to find the information i need, and is part of the reason that i started to use a hud. I mainly use the HUD to keep track of my runic.

Long time reader first time poster! =) Anyway, I thought I'd contribute since I havent seen any compilations that met
the standards that I've been looking for.

What I look for in an Interface is simple and informative. This can easily be done with either blizz own UI or the various addons that curse.com provides.
But I feel that I't lacks either information, or estetics, or both! Very often addons that add artwork and changes buttonbar setups uses loads of memory, and thus gives you more trouble then you gain percs in the long run.

So this is what I found on the wide stretches of the internet. Since I play on a computer that has had a few birthdays since I first bought it,
its important to me that the addons uses little memory so that it doesnt increase fps/lag. I know some of you share this problem with me.

Solution
So how do you get nice estetics and all valid information without huge memory usage?
All addons naturally takes up some memory. But some use less, and some are designed by very cleaver persons who make sure it looks great and works perfectly.

The solution lies in these addons. (If you like the looks of my UI)
First and most important is the RothUI artworks and unitframes. It moves the blizzard actionbars and adds a very lightweight artwork on wich the actionbars rest.
Also adds Player Frame and Runic Power Frame for the Diablo feel. It also adds Target Frame, ToT Frame.

Other usefull addons I use are: Acherus Runes, NeedToKnow, MikScrollingCombatText, Closetgnome and Power Auras.

I'll try to answer any questions I spot! Take care!
/kind Regards

The main UI font is 'Frakturika Spamless' while the font you see in the chat window is 'Ultima Campagnoli'.

The first came from SharedMedia and the latter came from SharedMediaAdditionalFonts.

Enjoy.
