It's very hard to measure the EP of haste accurately as it changes the series of attacks and when you get procs and the like and so is quite noisy. You can see this if you run a stat scaling run with haste.
As for the hit rating I believe the sim starts at the melee cap and compares that in both directions. It's actually quite hard to work out how to measure the value of hit rating, as the break points are pretty close together.
Hm... should I not trust the haste values then? How accurate does the sim get?
For hit, what do you mean by the "break points are pretty close together"? I'm assuming you mean that between high and low hit ratings, you're still hitting a whole lot? Hit - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft shows that with just 98 hit, you will still only miss 5% of all attacks, which isn't bad I suppose.
So perhaps it's true that crit would be worth twice as much as hit... maybe even haste at 8x. If you're dealing 4k damage with 95/100 hits, it must be better than dealing 1k damage with 100/100 hits. Obviously those number of hits will be reduced according to expertise and glancing blows... and the 100% hit would mean better proc uptime.

Hey Kahorie, love the sim... use it all the time and recommend it to anyone asking questions.
I used to use EnhSim a lot for my shaman, and loved the feature that gave an output link that could directly be copied into Pawn, lootrank, etc. With the recent graphical overhaul, could you perhaps consider adding a line on the EP output report for stat links, maybe even customizable? I looked through the XML files but none of it seems doable by me.
Mainly something for Pawn would be the best, as that's what many people use the EP values for (it's even recommended in the thread!). I'm sure your aware, but for redundancy's sake, it takes in a configured string that is pasted into the wow client itself, a la:
( Pawn: v1: "DPS": ArmorPenetration=2.09, RedSocket=52.4, CritRating=2.09, Dps=11.74, Strength=2.61, MetaSocket=23, Agility=1.39, HitRating=0.17, BlueSocket=52.4, YellowSocket=52.4, HasteRating=2, Ap=1, GemQualityLevel=82 )

Is there any possibility of adding some of the Icecrown procs, such as the rep ring or Bryntroll? I got the latter in the raid on Wednesday and have been trying to do some testing and figure out exactly what the proc is worth. I can post some logs and numbers if it helps/is in your interest to add it.
