Didn't see, if this was already requested, but I would love EP Values for weapon proccs. Obviously you can get a workaround by doing two sims, one including the weapon with procc and one using the stats of a stats-only weapon to find the best weapon choice in your current gear, but EP values would make this much more easier.

A workaround would be to add 50 AP to your baseline AP. (Proccs for 150 more AP, 33% uptime equals to 50 AP overall.)

Help making sense

I recently ran EP on my character to put togther a wish list. I am running 1.2.0.11

Here is what it simmed:

So first thing I notice is that Expertise is rated higher than ARP and STR. I don't understand this at all since my expertise rating is 26. The epic gem this list generates is Precise Cardinal Ruby. No way would I follow that but can you help me understand why this is so "off"?

The expertise EP value is calculated using a negative delta from full expertise. The large value is not inappropriate for some builds with tight rotations. If you want what happens for your gear, then the personal expertise value which is calculated by applying a forward delta to your current expertise will give you the correct value. That is coming out at 0 for you.

The same thing is done with the various break points for hit rating, although there is no Personal Hit Rating (which could be useful).

The feral druid is a different beast altogether.

For some reason, I just ran the different sims again and got the result i expected (checking ring gave lower dps etc). But then I reseeded and did the same, and all of a sudden the ring outdpses non-ring like it should :o

Edit: Allthough, unchecking "Wait for FC for GG/DRW" gave even higher dps

Also, there seems to be some bug with the ICC-buff. After running a sim, then editing my stats and saving, then running the sim again, the new sim doesn't take the 5% buff into account anymore and the dps go way down. I have to set it to 0 and back to 5 again to make it work.

First of all, thanks for all the work you've put into the simulator!

However, is there any possibility of you putting in the missing trinkets in the next release?

Some of the relevant missing are;

Whispering Fanged Skull (Heroic)
Herkuml War Token
Mark of Supremacy
Optionally Vengeance of the Forsaken as well!

All you have to do is multiply the maximum possible AP amount they give you by their uptime and add it to your character's AP. (e.g. Herkuml has 97% uptime with 20 charges of 17AP: .97*(17*20) = 329.8 AP)

Negative EP?

I'm trying to compile some APEs for Blood lately. To my surprise I got this result. I neither understand the negative 4T7 bonus nor the spell hit value.

100h sim, many 300s fights
150 ms
1 enemy
No additional RP gain
Do not wait for FC for DRW
Spec used
Gear used + [Hearty Rhino] + [Flask of Endless Rage]

Perhaps with T7 its trying to use death runes for DS for the set bonus, as opposed to HS?

I got a question about the value of the BeforeMeleeHitCap(<8%) regarding frost DW: is it 8% with or without the talent? i.e. if it give an EP of 3,63 for BeforeMeleeHitCap(<8%), is it the value of hit until 163 rating (5%+3%=8% total) or up to 263 (8%+3%=11% total)?

I think it should the first one, but when I go under 263 (replacing hit by crit), my dps is lower according to the sims. I know that we still benefit from more hit than 8% (for spell AND white damage) but that should be at the value of spell hit who is lower than crit, so my dps should go up; unless the spell hit value doesnt take into account the white damage portion.

I am a bit confused

Yes, I am aware that you can easily calculate an average of items, however I both prefer to use a simulators modeling of the trinket, and not just adding in the average stats of the trinket to my character sheet. It would also be easier and more handy if you just could simply choose another trinket in the menu for your character and not have to check new stat weightings and recalculate if you want to compare a trinket with a different gear set.

Was running some sims last night, and noticed the GoDisease Spec had 4/5 Necrosis and 3/3 Morbidity, as opposed to 5/5 and 2/3. Its really not that big of a deal as i simply modified and saved the template, but to ensure that everyone is on the same page, and not simming with a different spec, I felt the need to make it apparent.
