It appears there is an incorrect HPS boost for trinkets that give an average haste increase that would bring you to another haste tier in hot ticks. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seams the spreadsheet counts hots ticking 100% with that average haste

For example if I equip Witching Hourglass (haste proc) it will detail my haste at 2227 (this trinket adds an average haste of 342), which is high enough for a 9th WG tick. On the HOTS page it shows WG with 9 ticks, Even though a good portion of the time my WG would only be doing 8 ticks.

* There appears to be a bug somewhere. I'm sitting at 1885 haste in the spreadsheet and it's claiming on the HOT page that WG receives 9 ticks, when it should be 8.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly what to do about that. It's one of annoyances of having such a granular behavior of haste. Nature's Grace is handled explicitly--broken up into 2 different cases and averaged together. I don't have a convenient solution for all other temporary haste effects though.

Just some minor things

You point out leatherworking above the other professions cause of the bracer enchant but say it is in line with the other professions.

"Beyond that, Jewelcrafting, Blacksmithing, Alchemy, Enchanting, Inscription, and Leatherworking all provide roughly equal gains."

You wrote "nerved" instead of --nerfed-- when talking about Efflorescence.

This is basically final for Cataclysm release. I'll still fix any major issues if they arise, but otherwise I'm going to be on break from this recent spate of heavy updating for a little while--probably until we're a bit into raiding at 85 and have some new experience to go on.

This thread (and all the other current ones) will be locked soon, but a new thread for Cataclysm discussion will be open on release day.

e: snuck in one minor sheet update just now--fixing value of GOTEM proc.

Are you sure there's nothing more to that OoC chance to proc? It seemed a bit high for me so I tried to test it and, although the samples are rather small, I found something wierd:

I managed to go through 4 mana bars chain casting Regrowth - 164 casts - no Clearcasting procs.

I then chain casted Lifebloom and stopped after I got my 4th Clearcasting proc, by that time I had casted 154 Lifeblooms.

It's very late now but tomorrow I'll try to run some larger samples and to test some other spells as well.

PS I had no points in Malfurion's Gift.

Hmm, that is odd. I never actually tested OoC procs in quite a while. I'll at least put one of those "check" flags on that for now.

I've been able to get OoC to proc from Nourish / Rejuv / Regrowth (in ToL). Nothing to comment on the actual proc rate though. 5%+ seems high though, I imagine it's closer to 2%.

1. Regrowth, 851 casts, 2 Clearcasting procs. Hopefully from Regrowth casts, as I don't expect Energized (Solace buff) or Living Seed to proc it. I will remove Solace for the next tries.

I don't know what to make of these numbers, it looks like there is a difference between spells that consume OoC and those that don't in their chance to proc OoC. Maybe someone with a better method and more experience in rigorous testing might take another stab at it.

*later edit: looking through the logs I see some things I'm not sure how to interpret: some Clearcasting procs have the same time stamp as a SPELL_CAST_START - I thought OoC procs on finished, succesful casts

Sorry for being late with updated treecalcs.com - was completely overloaded. I've managed to support version 101019 of Hamlet spreadsheet. Support of the latest version will require some really hard work, so I think it will take like 2 months or so. But at least there is something working right now.

One more thing is that Armory still does not reflect Reforging and does not provide Mastery info. Hopefully it will be fixed as well in order to make online version more usable.
