Yes, Blizz has stated they will revert Chaotic meta to it's original requirements.

Meant to ask this awhile ago, somewhat off topic, but not really. Is there any workaround for the "Moonfire" bug as to macros? Running no addons, with a simplistic Moonfire macro, as soon as I get into solar the macro will state the "Spell is not learned". I know this is commonplace as its on the bug forums, wondering what others are doing to rectify this atm?

The bug is still in place to my knowledge and there isn't a way to work around this with the current macro system.

It's a limitation of the way macros are processed by the game client and it will take a reworking of the macro system. The macro cannot cast "Moonfire" because Moonfire is no longer a spell in your spellbook. Sunfire is actually a different spell altogether (which is why they have different spellID #s). You can probably use a macro to cast Sunfire, but the same problem would occur if you were to try to use it to cast Moonfire (it would give an error of some sort, probably Spell is not learned, or invalid spell).

For some macros you should be able to replace

/use [condition]Moonfire

with

#showtooltip [condition]Moonfire
/click [condition]buttonname

You can learn a button's name with

/run local f = GetMouseFocus(); if f then DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(f:GetName()) end

I don't know of any way to get '/click' into a /castsequence.

Even a very basic:

/cast moonfire

doesnt work Arythorn

I'm using

#showtooltip
/cast [mod:alt]Starfall; [nomod] Moonfire
/use 10

since I'm lvl80 and speced balance, never had any issues.
Seems like an addon problem to me. You also should try out workaround posted by Erdluf.

I was wondering if when the guide talks about Thorns, has it been updated to count the nerf to Thorns from a week or two ago? I know my Thorns took a pretty noticeable hit the change and I was wondering if the cutoff to use it had changed at all. Obviously in cases where the tank is tanking multiple mobs it will quickly become a huge buff, I'm thinking more for single target.
