So I've been using WC for a while now, but I've never taken the time to ask.
A) Is there a way to prevent the distortion of stats when I change a buff, for example DI to 'No' makes all my numbers go into the -3000s.
B) Are profiles/armory actually loadable? I've always just changed the items one by one because Load gives me an error (I'm probably using a wrong version: Excel 07 free DL :p). Whenever I change an item here it distorts the stats too.
Thanks in advanced. Sorry for the goofy questions.
As far as the stats question, that's because we disable automatic calculation to avoid the tables recalcing every time you change any option at all. If you hit F9, it'll recalc all of the data tables and give you the figures you need (as noted on the main sheet). Data tables can take a long time to run, which is why we do this.
Profiles are working fine for me on several version on Excel, can you give me the error you're receiving (and have you enabled macros?).
I seem to be having an issue in the newest version(7/7) of Wrathcalcs. When I import gear from a previous version(6/28) I seem to be gaining hit rating magically. The 6/28 version seems to be accurate with both in game and armory tool tips so I am thinking it is a bug with the newest version. I looked briefly but couldn't find the issue but I will spend some more time looking later. I can also pm you my 2 copies of the sheet if you would like.
So I finally found the issue. Seem that when you import gearsets with random enchants it defaults them to of Flameblaze rather than preserving the random enchant name from before. I had a ring of Feverflare that this happened to. Hence the gain of hit.
That's an option that has to commented better in WC. Right now it assumes you cast exactly one Starfall every Lunar Eclipse. You should really only use it if you're using Glyph of Starsurge in a normal-length cycle. The main reason it exists is to help evaluate Glyph of Starsurge.
From the other thread:
Do you want me to remove it from the dropdown unless GoSS is selected?
