How well does WC model burning treants? Trying to decide whether to break 2pc T12 to upgrade a 378 to a 391, and both WC and my gut say "no" (now that they don't die so trivially).
Though it does look like it's worth breaking 4pc to upgrade two 378s to 391s. Especially since 4pc doesn't do anything for all those phases where we still camp in Solar.

WC doesn't take into account Treants dying at all (which hopefully shouldn't matter anymore). It currently assumes I think 4.5 casts per proc. That's in the ballpark of what they usually get, but they're not consistent.
Breaking 4pc for 2 tier upgrades sounds odd, but it might be right if you're gaining haste stats you didn't have, or in particular passing a breakpoint. Or if you're not using 4pc for much of the fight, as you say.
e: note to self to fix Euphoria procs + 4T12, also.

I did succeed in importing from battle.net, however glyphs were not detected, and all 3 points in Starlight Wrath were missing, which was causing a rather large disparity between Wrathcalcs versions until I noticed it! Astral Leather bonus wasn't detected either, but perhaps that's harder to account for when importing from battle.net. Also, synapse springs (engi glove tinker) wasn't detected from import but again it's probably hard to detect, and it's a minor gripe with another great spreadsheet
For the record I am using Excel in Windows 7.

- Glyphs fixed, thanks. While fixing this I noticed we don't have Glyph of Monsoon in the sheet, don't know if you want to add that Hamlet (it's pretty amazing for Beth, Rhyolith and Rag Heroic, I'd imagine it's a fairly popular choice among raiding moonkin at the moment). I've set it to default to "None" if it's on someone's armory for now. I didn't hack it in since I've not got time right now to check there aren't any references to these cells elsewhere.
- Tinkers are an annoying one, because tinker information isn't returned by the API yet. What I'll do is just enter Synapse Springs if either of the professions is engineering (the sheet already defaults to this, but if you remove it manually before importing from battle.net it'll be missing). Good spot.
- Astral Leather bonus will always be on by default. I don't touch that, since the sheet doesn't support non-cloth itemisation. The only way that will be disabled is if you turn it off by hand.
- As far as the talents issue, I'm not getting the same thing when checking your armory and haven't had any other reports of errors or experienced any. I'm gonna chalk that one down to battle.net giving some bad information or something, since it seems to be working fine.
- Updated the BiS profile (hat tip to Lappe/GT4/etc over on the MMO-Champion forums who've been labouring away at this, although I suspect it's only so they could wear another 391 instead of the Sinestra cloak.
). It's just using standard professions (i.e. flat stat boosts) and Tauren as the race, since those things are obviously external to gearing.
- Profiles are copying over correctly, just checked. The only reason you'd be getting that error is if you had made Excel de-select the copied section before hitting the Import button (it's really annoying about this, if you select another cell it'll balk so choose your new profile name/etc prior to importing). Less on an issue now that Armory import is in, but seems to be working fine for me.
- Checked OpenOffice, all systems are miraculously go. Ready for update on the main thread's OP.
Updated version attached, please let me know if there's anything else:

On the latest few WrathCalcs versions I'm getting a new error when it opens/closes (I'm using 64-bit excel).
Compile error:
The code in this project must be updated for use on 64-bit systems.
Please review and update Declare statements and then mark them with the PtrSafe attribute.

Can you clarify what version of Excel & Windows you are using? Also, from what I'm reading, it shouldn't stop anything from working (in terms of macros/etc), could you confirm on that front?
[edit]
From some further homework it seems that it's a fairly easy fix, can you try hitting alt-F11. This will bring up the VBA editor, if you double click Module4 and edit the second line to begin "Private Declare PtrSafe Function" rather than "Private Declare Function", click Save and let me know if it resolves it for you? No way for me to check on that one personally, and I believe it's an issue with Microsoft rolling out VBA 7.0 in newer versions of Excel.

I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 and Office 2010.
Editing that line causes it to open and close properly but any changes to the sheet (like changing the name of the character) causes a Compile error: Type mismatch and highlights
Public Function UTF16To8(ByVal UTF16 As String) As String

How is the proc for the card (the damage) and the proc for the capacitor handled in wrathcalcs, because I found the fields "DMC: Volcano damage" and "VPLC proc damage" but given the numbers in there I'm not sure how to interpret that. The number for the card seems similar to the number im getting for DPE from it in simcraft but the number for the capacitor is way lower than it should be if those values were supposed to be close.
EDIT: Ok, I seem to have figured out how you are doing the VPLC proc calculation but you seem to also have a flaw in it. You seem to be trying to calculate and adding the time assuming you don't get a crit right when the ICD comes up, but it seems you aren't taking into account the crit per second chance happens right at 2.5 second rather than the first second after 2.5 seconds given we will have so many things going with chances to crit. With the setup I have plugged in right now I have a .642641675 cps value. Meaning by 1.55 seconds I will have 100% gotten a crit but since that is counting from 1 and not 0 shouldn't you delete one from that value to get the amount of time from the starting line it takes to get a crit?
I wish there were a spells hits (not as in hits vs crits but times spell damage is taken) per second value listed or something. I'm not sure if I got myself mixed up with this given this trinket seems rather hard to calculate properly without just a sim or something.

Don't have sheet in front of me right now, but the Volcano proc computations are only related to the proc damage itself. Most of the value of Volcano comes from the temporary Int, which is handled elsewhere.

Can anyone (thedopefishlives perhaps) enlighten me on why rawr is listing the capacitor so high whist others (simc and wrathcalcs) are registering it much much lower?

Running Wrathcalcs on Office 2011 (Mac OSX).
As i'm getting error 13 "Type Mismatch" anytime i press IMPORT BATTLE.NET... I'm thinking about some ideas and questions.
I've read it's a Mac Office issue (and I'm not surprised) ...so is there any workaround to avoid the long and boring manual data insert? Such as file imports or something similar... Maybe it'll be useful trying to add a Simcraft data import.

Win7 64bit Pro, Office 2007, WrathCalcs 110902
Clicking import from battle.net
Run-time Error 438: Object doesn't support this property or method
Range("E1") = Application.WorksheetFunction.VLookup(Char.race, Range("racelookup"), 2, False)
Is what the debugger is opening up to.

Sorry, I don't have/have access to a Mac, so all of the macro functions are unsupported there.

Normally this happens when Battle.net isn't returning any data, could you ensure that you've spelled your character name (top left) and server correctly, as well as choosing the correct region. Thanks!
Apologies for the delay in responses, I've been working away from home this week.

It's not, but I'll just use this 2.6 multiplier everyone's been talking about for now, until a firm range appears in tooltips.
