Erragal, I plugged in those cloth pieces, well, all of the cloth pieces from sunwell, and I came out that all other equipment being equal, Sunwellcloth/T6 was superior to T5/T6 by ~110dps + or - a few depending on other gear slots, buuuut, at the same time the breakpoint where it appears that sunwell is worth using to break T5 4pc is 3pc sunwell cloth, so either way it appears that both are basically even as far as usefulness when hitting Kil'Jaedan, as 3pc basically needs M'uru down I think. Unless I missed something again. Thanks for the suggestions.

( I can't check your armory at work).

The guild has been downing Illidan for months--since January, I believe. And while I just resumed raiding with them only just recently, I know this: they've completed a Warglaives set and had an additonal MH glaive drop, but have yet to see a single Cowl. So my possible up- and side-grades are: T6 legs (next time they drop--my 4th piece), T6 bracers (next time they drop, probably), T6 belt (soonish, probably), T5 chest (Sunday, or soonish--my 4th piece), Kalec leggings. Fortunately, already got SWP trash gloves and did nab T6 gloves as well.
As I said, there's a great deal of back-and-forth between the two set options depending on the exact order these items might fall in, but some of the possibilities suggest T5x4 + T6x2 as superior.
Assuming I can pick up the T6 belt and bracers before either a helm or a Cowl, I'm looking at T5 chest, helm, pants, shoulders + SWP trash gloves + 2xT6 (belt/bracer) as my best option... I think.

Hey I'm appling for a guild on my server who are currently on M'uru, problem is, their are abit shaky on balance druids and say that they need each dps to do around 2k dps on M'uru second phase. If I could get all possible upgrades upto M'uru, would I be able to reach that dps figure, if so what type of stats would i be looking at to reach that dps figure and thus convince the guild to accept me? A reply would be greatly appreciated as they are discussing about my application now and a reply asap would be great, thank you.

Also, were you testing with the Cowl as your helmet (Being that it's the best helmet you can get up through KJ) ? The difference between the T6 gloves and the sunwell leather gloves is minimal if you need the hit (And it has to come from somewhere). Would cowl + Brut leggings + leather shoulders from twins be enough to equal or surpass the T5 bonus? Just a quick toss through the spreadsheet has the two nearly equal to each other.
Certainly if you were a tailor and got the patterns, you'd be even better off. (Too bad there aren't any leather ones...maybe WOTLK)
@Efejel - We use DKP so I've ignored those pants every time they drop. They're just not worth it; the cloth badge pants are much better as long as I'm hit capped, and the Kaz'Rogal ones are significantly better period. The Kalec leggings are a decent upgrade, but they're just so much worse than the Leggings of Calamity. The back and forth is definitely frustrating, as when you have the 4pc.T5 you have to just hold onto gear you're not even using till later. They really just made that set bonus too strong for its' tier...but then gave us crit instead of the flat 5%/6% bonuses the other nukers got. Just so many weird itemization decisions.

2K DPS parses for balance druids on Brut do exist. But it's hard to say if you can pull 2k DPS yourself. (Which is to say, it's unlikely.) However, remind them that 5% crit for 4 casters and 3% hit for Rogues, Enh Sham, Hunters who plan on your presence & Fury Warriors can add a significant chunk to total raid DPS.

Well, dps wise I've reached 1600 on Illidan and 1800 on Akama at one time, normally around 1700, so with the upgrades and the golden 1392 spell differnce rule, 2k dps doesn't seem a huge figure to aim for, since I still have some sub-par gear, but thanks for your answers, I do appreciate them.

Akama really shouldn't be used as a DPS benchmark, he takes increased damage as the fight goes on. Terron Gorefiend is generally accepted as the best fight to test yourself by pre-Sunwell, so long as you don't get ghosted.

I just noticed that the spreadsheet does not include Idols. I was wondering if this was intentional and if it will be added at a future date.

Idols -- except for the Idol of the Unseen Moon -- are included, they're on the Character Sheet & Buffs (CS&B) page, as they were implemented before the gear select page. "Both" refers macro'ing the Wrath & Starfire idols to those spells (which will no longer be possible in 2.4.2).

Mac?
I realize many have probably brought this up, but I have sort of been frustrated lately by the fact that all the dps spreadsheets I can find will NOT work on a Mac OS system. I realize i will be mocked for using a mac in the first place, but hey, it's what I brought awile back and I don't have free money floating around to randomly buy a PC for a spreadsheet.
Is there anyway that I can use this on a mac (It just doesn't work with Excel....), or do you know of something that does (I CAN'T get Rawr to work, for some reason, ugh!). Thanks Efejel!

Well dang. When I open it in Excel I see the whole title page (different colors for what to do), then the rest of the document is blank....

Though, it appears to be 404 (at least, with my connection the page isn't loading) :-/
