[Resto] TreeCalcs - Page 10

Thought I'd chime in on the Windsong discussion, last night I was seeing approximately 30% uptime for each individual Windsong buff. Not only that, but I was seeing times where all 3 Windsong buffs were active simultaneously.

Here's the parse from our 9 minute 25m normal Feng kill: World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis

Also... pay no attention to the 1.7M arcane resonance damage I did to the raid... first 25m of the expansion and everyone is still a bit derpy from the post-Cata break :-p

Hamlet any chance your webpage gets an update? it was so easy and nice to use at cata and was clearly showing stats value and potential hps. Personally and i know alot of people are not real fan of excel spreadsheets.

This is just information to show which version of spreadsheet is supported by the current web page release.

Yes, the site will be updated, but not very soon. Honestly, I thought this page is not too popular these days, because I see a significant drop of visits since last year. But if you say you like it - thanks, great to hear, I will give it higher priority.

Many times I tried to find a companion to assist me in this project, but no luck so far, so you'll have to wait. I've even stopped playing to find more time to accomplish all pending tasks and updating of the site requires near 2 weeks of full time job.

So thanks for your interest, I will post any news here as soon as I will resume or finish the update.

I am sure there are people who can assist you if needed and it will be great for the resto community to come together and help each other.

Did't expect it was needing so much work. Thanks for doing it in the past (even if its a late thank you)

I will personally do my best to promote the webpage everywhere i can once updated. Concerning information for data used what are you going to use ?

I acctualy just learned about it the other day, tried it out and got kind of dissapointed when it wasn't updated, it's a great tool and alot easier for all the excel noobs out there.

If you are looking for an assistant I'm very interested in helping but I don't know anything yet, if you give me something simple I could probably figure it out with google though.

Actually, there is something you guys could help. The updating work consists of 2 phases: find differences in calcs and implement them in the code. Second one is mine, but those of you who know Excel just a little (knowing what a formula is) could help me with first.

NB: once you'll look inside the tables you will be willing to say thanks to Hamlet as well, belive me.

I'd like to make a suggestion on the Calculator. Maybe you should take out the 480 haste from Herbalism, it's rather misleading when mix/maxing for a breakpoint. =/ I know you can just not put in the profession or change the value on the Charsheetdata page. Just a thought.

On the 121016 spreadsheet, HoTs!G5 (regrowth heal), the formula is written as

(G3+G4*TotalSP*(1+HarmMastery))

where G3 is base heal, and G4 is the coefficient. To be consistent with other heals that should probably be

(G3+G4*TotalSP)*(1+HarmMastery)

I haven't tested, so I don't know if the bug is in the game, or just the spreadsheet. If it is an in-game bug, it probably deserves a note in the spreadsheet.

Also, cell G14 (average Rg tick heal) should also have a (1+HarmMastery) term (only matters if Rg is not glyphed).

Edit:
It also looks like Tranquility is counting only one DH per target (should be four per target). HoTs!p34 is
P7*MIN(Tranquility_Targets,5)+P14*S5+P40
The first term should be multiplied by four (P7 is a single DH).

I didn't intentionally make RG different there for any in-game reason, I'll fix the sheet (and for the others).

Update for the RG/Tranq bugs Erdluf mentioned (RG will look about 4% better than before), Rejuv mana cost (bit of a guess since PTR data doesn't have the new cost yet), SotF (using 70%), and Cenarion Ward. No changes for NV (model uses an average anyway) or FoN (definitely need to add this now).

Just realized this isn't actually living in an OP anywhere so nobody really sees it, maybe have to figure out where to put it.

Tecton, any plan to put in item upgrades soon?

Version with upgrades attached (remember to check in-game values for upgrades if you're close to a breakpoint, as they can be 1-2 out with the calculation method used at the moment).

I'm working on getting various bits and pieces up to speed with the improvements made to Wrathcalcs too, as well as getting armory import/profiles/etc working properly again.

Update to SotF. I basically coded in manually a few cases for what happen with/without glyph of WG and 4T14 bonus. Importantly, with both of those, it assumes you cast the SM/WG combo every 12s SM cooldown. I didn't spend too much time thinking about the others yet. Will comment more on Resto thread.
