I'd like to ask for some relative theorycraft regarding how the value of Furor vs. Moonglow changes when gaining 2pT12. Before 4.2 it was understood that your point investment in MG would result in a net mana gain provided encounter length passed a low threshold, which in turn meant MG was always a better choice. Now that 2pT12 is a flat % of mana, does this push Furror into an equal/better point investment?

ok so maths is destroying my brain today, so please do clarify something for me:

Do you have to have mastery to a % before it has effect?

So is it worth me working on rounding my Mastery or just dump excess into it? How much Mastery do you need for 19 and 20% and pleasse show me the calc for it.

There is no reason to specifically round your Mastery number and/or percent, as it still gains benefit from adding more Mastery, even if it isn't a round number percent. The tooltip just doesn't show decimal points for Mastery %.

Ok if people are sure, other classes DO get decimal points hence my confusion.

As far as I know it is too, although I don't know if they have the same display issue on their character sheets. Moonkin are often confused though since there actually was a patch cycle where it did round.

Does anyone know the (measured) proc chance of the 2xT12 under ToL?

I'd swear I remember that being discussed in one of the threads (the proc chance when in ToL is lower than otherwise, to compensate for the fact that you can spread LB to many more targets). However, I can't find any source that confirms just how much the proc chance is reduced.

If the proc chance was 5% in ToL instead of the normal 40%, you'd need to have LB on 8 targets in order to get the same regen from the 2xT12.

Obviously one could say that keeping LB on as many targets as possible is optimal, however many that happens to be. But I'd like to have a way to compare the expected performance of the 2xT12 under ToL with its normal behavior.

In most boss fights I am almost OOM at the end. I am healing raid

When it comes to play style I perfer not to have to time the use of the trinkets, but I will of cause not miss out on a lot of healing.

I am leaning towards the Moonwell Chalice, but I am afraid to lose the 540 sprit from the Tsunami card.

You could by parsing log, just checking for applications of the WG buff. The spell's cooldown will make it easy to tell how many targets are in each batch.

It has to be very close to 6 though, just given the huge radius that it uses.

Between the 4.2 crit buff and planned 4.3 WG nerf, the 2005 haste breakpoint will no longer be the clear goal for all, yes? After the 916 breakpoint, we should reforge into Mastery (for predictable throughput increase) or Crit (if you also like to flip fortune cards)?

Seeing as how 2005 is so easy to get in firelands gear and our efflorescence needs the same breakpoint, I'll be keeping it. Also I don't want to nerf my WG anymore than it has been. There's still a lot of ptr time left. I wouldn't plan on anything too specific yet.

If I cast tranquility during the last 1-2 seconds of Tree of Life, will the entire channeled spell benefit from +15% healing buff or does it recalculate my healing coefficient each tick? I assume the answer also applies to Power Torrent and Trinket procs.
