10 Man Beth Normal. Appreciate all feedback, please see my notes about gear.
Been working pretty hard on my uptime. Wondering if our raid might be ready to 2 heal Beth. (Although our DPS wouldn't indicate it ...

World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis

My gear is in a totally FUBAR state at this point because I dropped almost 500 SP for haste BP of 2005.
I could really use some advice on that, my gear is also in this weird limbo state and tough to figure out how to reforge.

My armor link.

I got the Staff farming FL trash and it was a massive upgrade over my 353 staff from ZA. Thats the reason for the "hit".

Here's my armory aswell, if you want it. Fixéd @ Tarren Mill - Game - World of Warcraft

Thanks in advice, Fixéd
Its really easy to say what others could have done better, your a great healer first of all.
Some observations from your log just picking knits:
Effloresence even without you having hardly any mastery could have put you around 20k Keep it on cooldown and not on the tank unless he is going to die. Use a mod that shows players grouped by 4 in raid frames.
8 minute fight = 2 tree of lifes instead of 1
Try and time Tranq with Tree

So basically, I should use my swiftmend on more crowded groups, instead of just tank. And normally, I use Tranq and Tree at the same time =p.

BTW - The mod you're mentioning sounds very interesting. Any tips where to find such a thing?

Wouldn't you also be missing out about 55 intellect and 83 stamina?

Here's a link to my guild's Shannox kill and an eventual Beth kill the other night:

I'd pretty much like some general feedback and criticism. The things I noticed were my overhealing, LB uptime, and Harmony uptime. Also, a link to my armory is here.

Ok I have one question that worries me about Baleroc fight. Our guild is progressing on heroic version of Baleroc and I don't have opportunity heal there, since we are going only with 4 healers: 2 paladins, 1 shamman and 1 priest. I wanted to as does Gift of the Earthmother's bonus of rejuvenation counts as direct heal and triggers volatile spark and flame?

Vuhdo and Efflorescence Setup

Anyone here use Vuhdo know how to setup efflorescence to indicate the maximum number of players to benefit from it? It's similar to a shaman's chain heal but can't seem to get it to work...but works on my shaman.

I think what you're looking for is the "Clusters" feature under Advanced. To make them show up on your frames, you have to assign it a position under Panels->HoT icons.

Gift of the Earthmother does not stack vital spark nor proc vital flame.

Hi, my question its about Stat priority and Mastery

First of all, i think of myself as a smart player. I have visual and sound warnings for my mastery (whenever i have to refresh it) but even like that i just cant get near the 90% uptime that is my desire, my best its around 80ish with a average of 75% on most fights.
Specially when the "omg" moments come to place (like last beth phase) i dont have the time to cast that regrowth to refresh the mastery, or i dont do it fast enough.
So my thoughts its that for my style and those particular moments critical rating its better than mastery by quite a big margin (checked with Tree Calcs) while when having 90% mastery uptime they are quite even (/w 0 pts on Living Seed)

So my question is, should i just go for the all crit option (i cant get the haste breakpoint yet) for now ? or i should keep trying to push mastery uptime (which i dont know if its worth it if i cant proc it when the OMG moment comes)

WOL Bet Fight (We do 0 dps on top so the burn phase its quite stressing for the healers)

Hello,

I’m currently raiding Firelands on a 25 man non H group. My main role for this fight (Beth’tilac included in the WoL parse below), is raid healing.

While I can see an improvement in my personal performance (CompareBot! - RaidBots - Web Tools for WoW Nerds) from our first kill to the 2nd kill, I’m still pondering why my HPS is lower than that of the top druid in the parse even thought the difference in amount healed is not that significant and my healing up-time is 100%.

Parse:
World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis

I was wondering if there any pointers or suggestions that I could apply to squeeze more performance out of my current setup. I can’t reach the 2005 haste break point with my current gear/raid buffs.

Thank you for your time.
S.

Assuming that the other druid is still in resto gear on the armory (which looks likely, haste is just above 2005), you are at a 5 ilvl deficit as well as not at the upper haste breakpoint. It also seems like you're not quite as regular with WG. Keralee has 38 casts for 232 ticks, you have 31 casts for 189 ticks. This probably accounts for most of the difference.

Otherwise, from the log, your performance looks very reasonable for 25 man non-heroic raiding. Good use of NG (6 procs), tree (2), innervate (2), tranquility (2), barkskin (5), good harmony uptime (90%).

Looking at your gear, you could tweak your gem choices. The general rule is to use exactly 2 orange gems (int+haste only) and zero blue gems except:
a) if you require additional haste to reach a haste breakpoint
b) if the gem slot gives +20 int per off-red gem required.
These changes are pretty minor, though, and probably won't impact your performance in a significant way.

Jar and Mandala are both pretty weak as far as t11 trinkets go. Continuing to run T11 content for a Fall of Mortality, or picking up Tsunami might be useful.

I took a look around and was not able to find a relatively recent discussion of key bindings that people use (and macros/click to cast bindings). I'm aware my current binds aren't ideal, but they do get the job done. I'm going to be re-working my binds and UI, and I was interested in what sorts of setups are in use.

Is there existing material I'm missing? Is anyone interested in discussing it?

Generally we leave that to personal preference. Most folks have a system they've been using for many years and despite that it may not be perfect/ideal, it's unlikely to change. There really isn't much to be gained from a bunch of people posting their binds. Your best bet is to set up what you think will work for you and run a bunch of battlegrounds where it doesn't really matter if people die/you have plenty of people to heal/dispel etc.

<Nite_Moogle> i miss raiding with carebare :< she makes me feel like i am not the only person that hates everyone
Aldriana: I am an asshole, it just so happens that some of my colleagues are even *bigger* assholes.
[R] [85:Neux:2]: i hear if you die on Good Friday they are going to make it where you can't get rezzed until easter sunday
Khazal: Yeah, I don't know about Magic Rainbow Unicorn Land, but here in Reality, Rhyolith is the worst encounter Blizzard has ever designed.

Carebear is right as to specific advice, here's some general pointers though. First off, your binds system needs to make sense to you, and you need to able to use your instants easily while moving.

I understand my binds well enough, that all my toons (tank, dps, and all 4 healers) are set up similarly. For instance, clicking my mouse wheel is for things you need to be quick with, but don't always need. For most of my toons, that means its interrupts. On my druid its soothe. Mouse wheel up and down is CC for those that have it, taunts for my tanks. You might have your instant hot keys be dots or other instants on a dps(or moonkin) so you are used to hitting the same keys while moving. The same binds for short and longer CD's, etc.

Obviously your most used abilities need to be the easiest to access, and the less you use something, the farther out it can be. Conc pot is obviously only once a fight, its f4 for me.

I like to minimize the binds I use, and use modifiers. Some people hate them, but it seems a lot faster then having to stretch or even move your hand from its "home" position. Don't forget your mouse buttons. Even a standard mouse has wheel up, wheel down, and mouse wheel click, times Shift and control, that can be 9 abilities/macros.

I unbound the keyboard turning keys, A & D, and use those for pvp trinket and or other defensive abilities, and moved chat reply to T and use R and F for other abilities. Between those 4, and ` & 1-5, and the mouse keys, I can bind most everything on most of my toons with only shift modifying.

So look at what you need bound, and come up with a system that makes sense for you, that can apply in some way to your other toons hopefully, and then practice!

A little tip I've used with great success for learning everything physical, from concrete finishing, to MMA techniques, to tying the school record swiss seat harness(lol Its a technique for tieing 20 ft of webbing into a rappelling harness... unique school), and for every toons new binds, is to do it slowly a few times, really thinking about what your doing.

Just go through all your binds, hitting them, and thinking about what you are trying to do. The reason is if you try doing something new fast, you'll mess up, which reinforces the mistake, and you need to practice twice as long to get past that mistake. By doing it slowly and thinking about it first, and gradually getting faster, you'll only be reinforcing the right way, and thereby learn better, and faster. Just 5 minutes gives you a great head start, and then ya, like Carebear said, hit up some BG's or 5 mans and practice till its instinct and requires no thought.
