I am currently using clique, but am finding it difficult use while moving. I was considering trying mouseover macros instead, but am leary as to weither or not they would really solve the problem.

I was hoping for some opinions from those more experienced then I about the pros and cons of using mouseover macros.
If I may attempt to clarify: I think what the gentleman is suggesting sounds a lot like what I've experienced with Clique. Running Grid2 and Clique at the same time, when using a clique-made bind to heal someone, the game sometimes won't register my next non-clique move keystroke.

To Illustrate, say I have "e" as rejuv in Clique, I'll hover mouse over target player, press "e" then press "w" to move, and my toon won't move. Note that W isn't and has never been bound to anything in Clique. I've noticed it only happens with both Clique and Grid2, I guess I've just gotten used to sometimes double-tapping motion buttons if I seem to be immobile.

Was this the issue you were referring to?

Why does it matter if it occupies both hands? The action is still: mouseover->click/press hotkey. You can still use other hotkeys while pressing your spell hotkey. I find it more comfortable to use my keyboard for all my healing spells.

Mouseover vs. Click Healing

I use mouseovers because I like having my keybinds as they are (I tend to use them all), and am comfortable with the number system. While it does require two hands, so too does click-casting (unless you have a fancy mouse) because you will find yourself having to press a modifier button with as many spells as we have. Just using the numbers, I find that I still have great control in movement by using a combination of mouse and keyboard strafing using mouseovers.

Again, as other posters have said, it's all a matter of preference. They are both very similar and the key is to find which one works for you. There is no one way to finding an efficient way to heal while still being able to react to the environment.

I was rereading the final patch notes today and noticed that the supposed pushback change of tranquility was not listed (pushback can no longer occur while channeling tranq, meaning we wont have to use barkskin before). Did this change somewhere along the lines and I missed it, or should this pushback change still go into effect in 4.1? Thanks!

Also thanks to everyone for all the posts. You guys have helped me with healing so much!

The profession section of this guide doesn't mention [Vibrant Alchemist Stone] as a reward for Alchemy. It seems like this sort of advantage deserves a short note in the Alchemy section due to the substantial impact that trinket can have on a Resto druid's ability to achieve 2005 haste in higher item level gear during progression through the first tier of Cataclysm.

Pushback resistance is still listed on the 4.1 PTR Notes (last updated 04/08/2011):

Patch 4.1 Public Test Realm Notes - April 8 - World of Warcraft.

It's under the all druids rather than resto druids section.

Also, what's all this fuss about Shards of Woe, if you're running out of mana, you're doing something wrong, or you're sniping heals, learn to manage it better and stack more spellpower, haste, or crit.
I recently obtained a SOW, and after using it in a few raids, I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. I know on paper it's incredible, but meh. I'm using the Alch trinket to help me get to 2030 haste, since I can't reach that based on the gear I currently have unless I drop my 4 piece, which I'm hesitant to do.

I've been proccing the SOW right before periods of AOE, WG->SOW->Rejuv my WG targets. I haven't noticed much of a HPS increase on normal fights, instead i've noticed a decrease because of the loss of the Int. Looking at my WOL, my heals hit for ~400 less than they used to, and ~400 less than the other druid i heal with. The faster ticks are nice when you low heal, I suppose, or on fights like Chim where there's almost no overheal, but I feel like the extra ticks I get are 'wasted' since our raid rarely stays low for less than a few seconds, and I'm just ending up with more overheal.

I use a combination of mouseovers and the Razer Naga mouse. I used to use Clique, but I had issues healing with mouseovers, pressing Shift/Alt/Ctrl keys plus my clicks and moving [since you can't really bind all your heals to a 5 button mouse]. Now, I use mousovers, press the little buttons on the side of my mouse, and strafe away.

The idea behind using Shard of Woe is that you can be more liberal about rejuv spam if you're trying to consider using it against an INT trinket.

I think with current content the reduced spell cost this provides probably isn't that valuable...especially since you're already killing Sinestra and probably farming the rest of the heroic content. That said, this trinket will probably be very useful when firelands comes out as you'll see major reduction in overall mana reduction allowing your HPM and T2OOM to be much higher.

is Tyrande's Favorite Doll and Jar of Ancient Remedies actually usefull on the "use" portion of the item? Or is it better not to use them and keep the spirit Buffs?

Use on cooldown if the mana isn't going to waste. For both.

The only reason not to activate the TFD on cooldown (if you need the mana) is if the explosion will do something bad like pop a shield on Omnotron.

Only the Jar stacks spirit, the Doll stacks a pointless buff that just signifies how much the use will gain.

I moved some of the recent discussion to SQA because it wasn't really appropriate to this thread, so if you were following something you'll find it there.

<Nite_Moogle> i miss raiding with carebare :< she makes me feel like i am not the only person that hates everyone
Aldriana: I am an asshole, it just so happens that some of my colleagues are even *bigger* assholes.
[R] [85:Neux:2]: i hear if you die on Good Friday they are going to make it where you can't get rezzed until easter sunday
Khazal: Yeah, I don't know about Magic Rainbow Unicorn Land, but here in Reality, Rhyolith is the worst encounter Blizzard has ever designed.
