There seem to be alot of opinions that its a non-issue that clearly berserk is best suited for a full energy bar and that other computations are berserk blastphamy and 100% un-needed, however as i note by my shotty napkin math its only a difference of 2000 total damage, over coarse of the two 46 second time intervals that boils down to 43 dps, a VERY close contender in my opinion. If this comparison is THAT close to the full energy berserk it is certainly worth looking into.
@Vaccine I was pretty sure it was clear that the rotation was to TF-->burn to 12 energy-->berserk+rip(with tf buff) to begin fb spam rotation, and once again it was only to be considered w/ heroism's energy gains. Obviously a single TF doesn't merit 6 gcds worth of constant actions, however if your leading into a berserk i do not see how you would lose active time by choosing when you lead into berserk.
Just incase that somehow is still difficult to grasp, it would be option a: tf-->zerk option b:tf-->burn to ~20 energy-->zerk; either way your tf gcd's should be full.
@Vaccine "You've used minus 60 energy as your starting point. That energy must be spent outside of Berserk then, as opposed to the model spending it inside Berserk. That 60 energy will be spent on non-Berserk Shreds instead. Therefore without doing any math other than knowing that the conversion on FB is better DPE than Shred, I already know which is the better scenario. "
The major point is that even without a full energy bar to begin the ration you could continue to shred/rake/fb on every cd of berserk. Once again the difference in total damage output was only ~2000 damage over 46 seconds, enough to merit investigation.
The numbers I used sourced from my previous post entailing a break down of the dpe of shred+fb, which sourced from Simcraft; when I attempted to run the same test in Mew i found that mew's expression of the dps of abilites is misleading as it partains to the amount of dps relative to the breakdown, not the damage per execute time of attacks. I could likely be looking in the wrong place for a damage per execute time, but without having a solid grasp on the dps of shred + FB I did not feel comfortable calculating the different dpe's of FB during berserk. The previous calculations are using The dps per ability based on Simcraft divided by the energy cost of each ability; I suppose you could get the dpE of each ability from mew and multiply by the energy required to find the dps, ill retest this way and see how the results come.

The reason you lose up-time is because any time you add is more time between uses of tiger's fury, since you cannot use tiger's fury during berserk and berserk's duration is much longer than the cooldown of tiger's fury, anything other than using tiger's fury immediately before and after berserk will cause a loss of uptime, a dps loss I have not accounted for. Unless this 5second difference is enough to lose/gain a total tiger's fury over the coarse of the fight, it would have no affect.

The founding point of the comparison is that no energy is 'lost' in either situation; the berserk+heroism energy flow should sustain the rotation regardless of how much energy you start with.
If something I have posted is confusing and you are having a difficult time grasping it, I humbly plea that you pst me for deatils vs cluttering the forum. Also, before posting against my posts please read them in depth, several of my replies have been re-stating things that someone skipped over or failed to read before posting.

Ive never done a post here before, im just reading around abit but i would concider myself as a high end raider feral cat with world 100 ranks in 25 man last tier and currently around the same with some kills like beth'tilac world 70. Ive been testing alot of gear setups and theorycrafted alot sins the changes and what i find being the most optimal is beeing atleast softcaped for hit/expertise due to the mixes of boss encounters you dont want to miss a finisher when its time to move to a new target etc.
With this taken in concideration ive been checking the end bis gear and found out that haste is the best stat to go for combined with a decent amount of crit and mastery. The key is atleast to have haste as our prime stat to proc of Ragnaros trinket, this is a huge dps boost to be able to use. Im currently not going either for the 4th set T12 due to alot of mobility fights and imo u dont get all the time you need to make it worth it. 2 set is pro though with shoulder/gloves as sets to be able to get haste head from Lord, haste legs from Beth and haste chest from Baleroc. I personaly think blizzard made us realy fun this tier, giving us fire staff and a comparable dps output. Now i just need to convince the locks to give me dark intent aswell and im golden
Ive been able to have over 30k dps on baleroc ( World of Logs - Real Time Raid Analysis )and today we begin progress on baleroc 25hc, we have live logs at all times so if you want feel free to check there if it helps you to figure out stuf of your own. My guild is Aurora Borealis @ Grim Batol EU.

Can someone post the values of the secondary stats when;
T11 2 Set + T12 2 set.
T12 2 Set + Offpieces.
T12 4 Set.
Or something along the lines of:
For ever X mastery, crit increases to Y, haste decreases by Z
For ever W haste, hit and expertise increases to X, crit increases by Y, and Mastery decreases by Z.
Has anyone noticed if Primal madness is working properly? TFed pre-beserk and had the 20 extra energy, but when TF ended i lost the energy. I know TF and then Berserking wont stack the Primal madness buff (resulting in 40 energy) but shouldn't i still have the 20 energy during my berserk duration. But i may never of noticed it before if it used to do this.

Rake currently hits, then immediately ticks at 0 seconds (so it effectively deals 5 x (56 + 14.7% AP) damage) - the AP-scaling change is in the patch notes, but the additional 0-second-tick seems strange: is that a bug?

Given the way the patch notes are worded I thought it was obvious that that would be the result, so not a bug.
Rake initial damage on hit now deals the same damage as each periodic tick (and is treated the same for all combat calculations). Periodic damage now gains 14.7% of attack power per tick, up from 12.6%, and base damage per tick has been lowered from 557 to 56. There is a known issue with Rake's tooltip being incorrect from this change will be corrected in a future patch.

I think people are interpreting it as "the initial damage of Rake will hit as hard as the periodic tick" and not "the initial application rake will also deal another tick in addition to the frontend damage". I know I assumed it to be the former.
I don't think this changes anything that we do, however, so it's a nice little buff.

Concerning [Ricket's Magnetic Fireball] the Equip is a meteor that hits for ~350 and can crit (I've seen up to 600 dmg from it). The interesting thing is the Use doesn't share the usual CD with other trinkets/tinkers. So you can macro it to go off with your other trinkets, etc. Personally I have TF+Synapse Springs and this macro'd together.

I suspect, but would need confirmation on this, that the reason it is too strong (Unheeded Warning) is because the proc looks like it's over budget. If I do napkin math, it suggests that the value should be closer to 490 weapon damage (vs the current 680) for an item of ilvl 359.
Confirmation would be helpful.

I'm just wondering if I'm somehow doing something wrong myself or could it be something to do with haste breakpoints (surely not? or at least it wouldn't affect the weight so much) or a bug?
Edit: I just noticed it reports weapon speed as 100000, but that shouldn't matter much?
I did import from armory and all I changed was taking 3 pts from Perseverance (have them there for heroic rhyolith) and put them 1 to Furor and 2 to Brutal Impact, toggled raid buffs on, feast, flask and double potting on
Edit2: Swapping Ancient Petrified Seed with The Hungerer (both normal) seemed to fix it. I also added 20% Encounter Duration Randomization, but doubt that changed haste value. Just in case, report with normal weights:

I would like to notify the Feral community that the Unheeded Warning has been changed. The trinket was changed from 680 Weapon damage proc to a 2648 AP proc. As of this writing it does not appear that it has hit the US servers YET but it does appear to have hit the EU servers already.

I don't suspect the proc rate has changed though.

The testing was done with a Cat Spec, as noted by the buffs. The proc is approximately 1926 AP, not 2648 AP (Feral Aggression and Heart of the Wild modifiers). 2648 AP would be absurd.

1926 is correct and in line with the other trinkets of the tier. So while it drops Shred/Mangle damage by a lot, FB/Rake/Rip will be affected. The change is more than plenty to drop it out of the top list of trinkets though. Might be a bit weak compared to other 359 trinkets (seeing how other trinkets proc Haste/Crit), but it's definitely closer to where it should be for its ilevel.
Additionally, this will tone down Feral (and Rogue) burst in Arena a fair amount.

I'm on EU server so I tested out myself, I have 2860 AP up from 452 in caster form. Taking in account agressivity 25% bonus, the proc is actualy (2860-452)/1.23=1926.
Assuming the ICD didn't change, and assuming perfect uptime for both, the Napkin math suggests UW is now a ~70 DPS loss compared to Fluid Death. It's now in line with 359 trinkets, I think it's more fair that what it was. Let's just get firelands trinkets. :p
