Current Wrath on the PTR, although lots of speculation that it's unfinished since it's not too spiffy (and yellow for Wrath is slightly odd):

Have they increased the travel speed of wrath? I've heard that lightning bolt speed did increase.

Was just on the PTR and it Wrath does not appear to have any increase in its flight time.

Looking back at this Tier of raiding, in which we got the current version of Lunar Shower, I realize I did not really find any use for it in its current implementation. I tried hard, at the beginning, but the few extremely situational uses did not balance the constant drawbacks.
The good thing out of it, is that I was able to free 3 points to max perseverance (a talent that actually offers benefit in all the encounters).

The major issue I see right now, is the lack of mobility I suffer from, since I felt like I had to spec out of our "mobility talent" (Lunar Shower - which was not perfect either in its previous iteration, but was pretty good as long as we were in eclipse when moving) for this Tier, and nothing remplaced it. Of course Mushrooms can be placed while moving to offset the dps lost a little, but it is quite limited (not to mention tedious).

I feel that this talent no longer as its place so high in our talent tree, especially in its 3-points form, and I kind of hope that it gets reworked in 4.3, however I would like to hear your views on it : did you, fellow pve-oriented moonkins, specced out of it? Does it have enough value in pvp that it can be tagged as a "pvp talent" and left as it is? Or is it just a weak talent overall, whatever the situation.

I actually find Lunar Shower useful for 2 reasons :
- It is still a good dps increase for fights where adds are dpsed and die too quickly for dots to be effective. Such examples : Spiderlings on Beth'tilac, Fragments on Lord Rhyolith, Spores on Ragnaros
- I also find myself using it sometimes on Ragnaros to push a lunar eclipse instantly rather than waiting on the ridiculously long flying time of Wrath and Starsurge.

Both your uses are damage losses compared to stuff you can do without Lunar Shower.
Beth'tilac HM: Just solo the spiderlings using mushrooms -> typhoon -> mushrooms with dots on the ones not hit by one explosion
Lord Rhyolith: Mushrooms + Hurricane does more damage and allows you to camp in Eclipse more easily
Ragnaros:
Sons: Mushrooms on any clumped ones with Sunfire (+IS if you want to kill them fast) allows you to solo 3-5 sons on 10m
Molten Elementals:
AoE: Starfall + Mushrooms + Typhoon into Hurricane
Non-AoE: Starfall and just DoT everything up with Sunfire

That's all 10m HM but should also fit to 25m and even moreso to 10m nonHM.

Your second use is quite a big DPS loss since not only you spam a spell that's lower DPS than your non-eclipsed main nukes but you also forcefully refresh non-eclipsed DoTs.

In general I find Lunar Shower to be a fairly mediocre talent currently because - if you plan your fights correctly - using it hinders you more than it helps you.

Not sure what might have changed there, but until you get a more detailed answer from Tecton, can just try deleting the cell. Should have the same effect as selecting an empty option.

I suspect that the low DPS gain is because SS is worth the same whether hard cast or not; it is the same as your GCD. A non-guaranteed crit, non- guaranteed-boosted spell that has only a slightly larger hit than any other nuke, and we get 2 more per minute, if that, seems like a garbage 4-piece. How much of a boost in SS proc percentage would be needed to be greater than the current 4-piece.

@loudnoises if you're talking about necromantic focus, it held my mastery -> haste from the DMC:V and had to switch it to DMV then revert the reforge then switch it back.

Lunar shower is good to have for ragnaros hc if you use it smart. Specially SEED phase and 2nd transmition (if u have blazing heat...).
