Thanks for the tips Narwhal
I dug through a lot of different logs on Windlord trying to find what was optimal re multidotting and aoe, and found people ranking top 10 with both strategies, and tried a ton of different styles personally since we spent a decent number of hours on it in 10m the prior lockout as an extra credit raid before we went in on 25 and got the kill last week. Our pull only cc'ed 3 targets instead of 4, leaving an additional aoe target, so I wanted to do a bit more aoe before the first set of adds (menders) died. The way I personally found most effective was starting lunar, just about to exit, prepot, starfall, start precasting starsurge into nearest add, and then immediately pop INC/NV and CA, throw out the double set of dots on everything using SS procs as soon as possible to not lose them, get all 7 targets dotted up, and refresh them as close to leaving CA as possible on what you can, since you've got astral storm as an aoe here, I didn't feel it worth casting that as filler though maths could prove me wrong on that. Saved a SS proc for the leaving casts and was precasting a starfire that would push my energy along with the SS close to solar so that I could spend the remainder of INC/NV hurricane spamming on all the adds. At this point I generally camped solar until the first set of adds was dying, using symbiosis to cast mass dispel on all the adds in a rotation with our shadow priests to get quickening off and SS procs to inch towards lunar. As soon as first set of adds was dead went into the multidot + ss procs into wind lord strat that seems to be most effective.
