hi
on my rogue ive got a macro, to start attacking the enemy when pressing sinister strike and while having not enough energie. so i dont lose auto hits.
And the explanation to that is that if you type Mangle(cat) it thinks (cat) is the rank. If you instead type Mangle(cat)(rank 1) it will count 1 as the rank. Typing () automatically picks the highest rank.

Oh so *that's* why that happens. I'd been wondering that for ages!
What constitutes a good rip uptime percentage. Given a melee-favorable fight (I'm using WWSes from Teron Gorefiend) what kind of uptime percentages are people seeing for rip? Is it 75%, 85%, 95%, or perhaps closer to 99%? How much would the numbers change if you were using the 13 second cycle for double rips?
In a similar vein, I assume that the Melee/Shred/Mangle/Rip damage percentages shown in Rawr are for an optimal cycle and therefore should be the percentages I should be shooting for (for number of attacks), is this correct?
With a 12sec cycle, in a 4min fight, with 4sec to run in and 4sec to build CPs before applying your first rip, with .3sec between rip wearing off and rip applying, your uptime would be ~94.3%.
With a 13sec cycle, in a 4min fight, with 4sec to run in and 4sec to build CPs before applying your first rip, with 1sec between rip wearing off and rip applying, your uptime would be ~89.2%.
Also, correct, Rawr assumes best case possible, which isn't exactly realistic, but that's what you should be shooting for, yeah. Note however that it doesn't handle double rips at all.
Hello everyone i am posting here for the first time. So i am feral druid tank i have 2 pvp items and i have 391 defense rating and 85 ressilience with 3/3 sotf. I need to know if i am still uncrittable and if there is a graph or something so i can understand the defense cap with ressilience Thank you

Halfway down the original post. At least try?
The main priorities as a bear are to get un-crittable (for which you need 2.6% anti-crit), get decent amounts of health and armour and, if in an OT or hybrid role, stack agility. 2.6% anti-crit is 156 defence rating (415 defence total) (155 will not do, although the character screen will inform you that you have 2.6% less chance to be crit (415 defence)!) or 103 resillience. You can mix and match, but make sure you check afterwards that you have a total that comes out to more than 2.6% to be safe. Remember that although you need more defence, you do get some avoidance out of it so it's not always most worth getting pure resillience.
Note however that it's slightly inaccurate, the correct def rating is 154, not 156.
(Dukes, can you edit that, and perhaps fix all the spelling mistakes? )
The other feral thread is for WotLK talents/abilities so this seemed to fit better here.
But I've been keeping an eye out on all the leather thats been coming, and I've seen absolutely zero feral(High armor, strength, agi, stam, and maybe int) leather. It all looks like rogue(agi, stam, hit, AP) pieces, which is not bad for DPS(and high threat, low mitigation tanking), but doesn't bode well for regearing ourselves for tanking.
MMO-champ just released loot from a place that will have gear comparable to Sunwell loot, and the leather pants have excellent stats, 71 agi, 69 stam, 40 hit, and 76 AP, but the armor value is almost 200 less than T4 leggings.
Maybe there just hasn't been any real feral leather thats dropped anywhere yet, but that seems unlikely. And I know, this is still very early in the beta, and things may change, but I thought this was worth noting.
Edit: One more thought, if they increase the armor bonus from bear form by a very large amount, then things might even out, but I haven't heard of anything like that.
I remember similar concerns when we started to see the first of BC itemization. I suspect there will be feral leather scattered about, although expect to tank in greens for a while (hey there, Manimal, how goes?).

Yeah, I remember that there were a few excellent greens for legs, belt, and boots I believe. And I hope you're correct that there will be actual feral leather found soon.
..this item could even be worse. They will change the conversion of agility to dodge for bears for what I have read (sorry, no source at hand). This might very well be to serve the intend of making items fit for more classes/specs.
Changing the agility factors by too much would ruin the hybridization of Druids on multi-stage encounters (ie: Agility gives us dodge for stage 1 in bear form and crit for stage 2 in cat form). I don't believe that is their intention.
The Washington Post helps perpetuate a common and pernicious misreading of the decision, referring to "the Supreme Court’s judgment that corporations have the same rights as people when it comes to political speech." What the Supreme Court actually said is that people do not lose their free speech rights when they organize as corporations, including nonprofit interest groups as well as businesses.
So I am using 2 - T4 and 3 - T6. If I drop my Nether Shadow Tunic and replace it with my T6 chest I will lose way too much hit. I also cannot drop shoulders or gloves (T4). I dont think it is worth it to drop cursed visions to use t6, also the rogues and hunters will be mad if I just ditch my cursed visions :P
