He is indeed full of it. Rip, rake(both the initial dmg and dot), and the pounce bleed don't scale with ArP, everything else does.

When doing damage analysis (dummy), should my Rip ticks equal the Rake ticks, for proper uptime?
Currently I have damage set like this:
Rip (60), Melee (194), Shred (35), Rake [DoT] (36), Mangle (11), Rake (12)

@ windcape
Per this post no, Rake ticks every 3 seconds, while rip ticks every 2 seconds.
Ideally you want to see >95% uptime on mangle (if no bot), rake, and rip, with 100% uptime on SR without clipping anything other than SR.
With your parse (60 rip ticks and 36 rake tips). This means that rip was up for 120 seconds, while rake was only up for 108

[Mark of the Relentless] from HTOC - Picked it up & it looks like a pretty darn good tank ring, yet there's no discussion of it on these forums at all. Comparing it to my [Keystone Great-Ring], I lose 19 Dodge Rating and 490 armor, but gain a ton of STA and a blue gem slot. The stat weights I use, generally based on FBN, show this as a solid upgrade. Yet seeing no discussion of it on these forums makes me doubt myself. Am I missing some big downside? Thank you.

It's not that bad, and is better than Keystone and depending on how you view Expertise, Relentless is probably better than your [Gatekeeper]. It's just that most of the Druids discussing things here have gotten rid of Keystone a long time ago, since compared to other readily available rings: [Clutch of Fortification] or [Dexterous Brightstone Ring] or any of the tank rings from Ulduar it's just not that good.

About my UI: I am looking for a mod that monitors internal CD's (like Sqwak and awe or whatever that one was). Basically looking for Insightful, Sif's Rememberance, stuff like that?

There are plenty of addons for monitoring CD's, you just have to find the one you like and can play with. I for example use Power Auras which gives you a nice visual effect. Also, you can do almost everything with SBF
EDIT: Sorry, my mistake, but Quartz can show you the internal CD
On another topic:
Does anyone know what the basic ArmPen rating should be before start gemming gear into ArmPen? Or is it not even worth to think about as they are nerfing it anyway?
P.S: New to the forum o/

1. He asked for internal CDs, not CDs. I don't know any addon which could do that.
2. I remember "300" as the Cap where you *can* start re-gemming.

I believe you're looking for Procodile. I'm not sure if it's still fully operational since it hasn't been updated recently, but it's worth a try.

New to the raid healing community and trying to figure out a small tradeoff...
I've been looking at various specs of top end raiders and have definitely noticed that most of them take the Nature's Grace talent. To me, this talent seems very lackluster, especially once you acquire haste gear. In combination with Gift of the Earthmother, wouldn't it be extremely easy to become haste capped on everything except Nourish/Healing Touch?
Can someone explain the exact purpose behind this talent for Resto?

It's for chaining Nourish in a tank healing situation. For many people, it doesn't come up all that often.

Would someone please list all the number values for the various stat caps in one post I have been reading to find them and have gotten confused by the multiple listings of talented and non talented values.

Looking for someone to point me in the right direction for discussion on the DPS contribution of the Balance T9 2 piece set bonus. Or advice on using the forum search tool, I can't seem to find much info on it. Info on the T9 4 piece bonus would be nice too.

2T9 is said to be supreme, 4T9 worthless. Use 2T9+2T8 instead.

Caps?
- Moonkin: Here
- Resto: here
Now that I've already posted: Is there something like a crit cap or something like that? I heard of a soft cap where Haste starts to be better again above 400 (haste).

There's no cap persay on crit, but it does have a sort of pseudo diminishing returns effect on it. After a quick search, there's a general explanation here, 5th post. I suppose you could look at it as a cap, but it's more of a diminishing returns effect that shifts the value of stats around after a certain point.

Quoted from Moonkin Guide: "The T9 2-piece is very strong and you should aim to get it quickly. The T9 4-piece is mediocre and worth little to no upgrade over a 2T8/2T9 setup." Is it only the 2T8 bonus which has been compared? Surely 2x 245er items should be better than 2x 226 (including the bonus), isn't it?

Feral gear
I've started playing my druid recently and am trying to prioritize my upgrades. I've been pretty happy using Rawr for cat items since it seems straightforward, but I'm not sure whether it's as useful for bear. My role would be OT for the most part, but setting the threat setting to OT winds up with mostly DPS gear, which doesn't seem right, especially since there will be times when I'm tanking the boss with the "MT" grabbing adds. Likewise, the MT setting seems to focus much more on Stamina, to the exclusion of most everything else. Setting it to 25% seems better, but I was curious what other folks use. I've also played around using the stats on the Feral by Night thread, but the purported 7.5% weight from threat just doesn't sound high enough, especially when I'll be having to hang on to threat from better geared mages and warlocks.

I think the threat setting should be set to zero. Mixing threat in with mitigation and survival is confusing since they're very different. If you're worried about threat on a given fight swap in some cat gear, otherwise focus on actual tank stats.
Also, don't be afraid to sort gear just by mitigation or just by survival to see how it stacks up in one area or the other. Rating it all by a composite value isn't as helpful sometimes.

Haste - Is stacking haste as important as I keep feeling i'm lead to believe? I have just re-gemmed all my gear, swapped out my main hand for the Dagger from ToC HC for the extra haste and I'm still 160 of getting soft capped. I was in a raid with a druid that spanked me for HPS and overall healing and I asked him about haste and he said, what is the point, he just has whatever is on the item but does not care about buffing it or looking for more.
So, the question is, Haste. Do you bother or what?
Thanks in advance.

Wondering about tanking boot enchants. I've always gone with runspeed because of the unquantifiable advantages. But the tank profiles I'm seeing are not showing runspeed. I searched but didn't see a discussion about the issue. What's the current thinking? Thank you.
