I am currently using Rip (for DPS situations), Maul and Frenzied Regeneration as major glyphs.
My minor glyphs are Rebirth (free bag slots!), Thorns and Challenging Roar.

The latter is especially useful in Naxxramas, because it makes Shout/Roar rotations on thrash easier to sustain if we are chain pulling or, most likely, adding more packs.

For majors: Both Maul and FR are awesome and I really don't want to tank without them.

Aquatic Form: Get Glyph of Aquatic Form for leveling as soon as possible before Northrend. There are so many quests where swimming is involved (Tundra, Fjord, some in Dragonblight) that the glyph will save you a lot of time. Of course that is not really relevant to level 80 or raiding.

Does Glyph of Dash work? My cooldown counter still counts it as 3 minutes, I don't know if that's an add-on bug or a glyph bug. But it seems to me that its broken?

Glyph of Innervate

All though this might not help our pure DPS it is Very nice for raiding. If self cast it only gives the casting druid a 20% increase in mana regen. But for raiding purposes you can target another player and cast it and you still recieve the benefit of the spell.

It absolutely works. Your cooldown counter probably shows 3 minutes because it works at 1-minute granularity for times longer than a minute. Use dash, count out ~24 seconds, and it will tick down to 2 minutes remaining.

Er. In my feral gear, I typically get around 2000 mana from a full innervate. The glyph just lets you regen at 100% while casting, correct? So assuming you're going to be shifting directly after using it, the glyph will give you 5 seconds' worth of OO5SR regen - which is not very much. I wouldn't say this one is worth it at all for a feral druid.

I had a disaster on The Four Horseman the other night, I "missed" a Growl.

At the time, I had the Glyph of Growl equipped (Increases the chance for your Growl ability to work successfully by 8%.).

So, that left me some room to "miss".

The hit rating for a Feral druid is 9% (single handed weapon value).

I am just making sure that Growl is calculated off this value, and not a caster/2hd value.

Growl, along with other taunts, uses the 17% caster miss rate for boss mobs.

They changed this in at least 2.4. All taunts use melee hit and melee hit tables.

No actually, they made Growl affected by melee hit in 2.4, but it is still on the spell hit table.

I'd love to see the documentation on that or see actual tests run. 17% miss rate on taunts seems fairly high and not at all anecdotally what I've seen observed.

I'm still getting taunt resists at 325 hit rating (9.91% melee, 12.39% spell) vs. a Heroic Training Dummy.

Mangle Glyph

Please explain to me why would anyone want the Mangle glyph to last 6 more seconds? Mangle does 115% + 229 in Bear and 200% + 634 in cat. To me it seems that you would want to spam this every 6 sec. in bear so and every 12 seconds in cat since shred does more damage so what benifit does and extra 6 seconds do?

For cat, since shred does more damage per energy than mangle, you want to mangle as little as possible, just enough to keep up the debuff. The glyph lets you wait 18 seconds between mangles, rather than 12.

Savage Roar/Berserk Glyphs added.

Note that neither of the new glyphs is currently learnable on the PTR and are only known from data mining, so they are very much subject to change before we see them.

Assuming Savage Roar boosts the bonus damage to 36%, it is not a net 6% DPS boost, but is instead a 1.36/1.3 - 1= 4.61% DPS boost over what you'd do without it, assuming 100% uptime.

With the patchbuild currently tested on the ptr, they changed the shred-glyph to add two seconds to your rip-debuff on your target each time you use shred, up to a six-second-duration-increase for one rip-debuff. Guess this would make the glyph far more useful in pve.

With 3.1.0 we will have to decide, which glyphs will be the best ones for our dps-cat.

Did anybody already figured all these changes out into some numbers?
