Has anyone done the test for languish procing Nibelung, if so, would love if you could add it to WC as well.

That's going to be hard to test. It's basically the same discussion as trying to figure out whether Moonkin mana return procced it. The difference in proc rate at a target dummy would be ~0.3%. You can't really pick it out without an enormous number of casts. I find it very likely that it would proc it, though.

Would be much slower, but test it with single starfires. When starfire crits stop casting and let Languish run it's course, since the stuff that would proc it on starfire would apply on the hit but Languish ticks 2 seconds later it should be easy to determine if it was Languish that procced it. Shouldn't take too many casts since you basically isolate languish.

On all these tries 4pc t10, my IS dmg-done was higher then my MF dmg-done (though I always prioritized MF over IS and kept them up at all times, except for IS when less then 5secs left on LE). My explanation for that was that the glyph of SF kept resetting the MF ticks (I had a significant higher amount of IS ticks then MF, even taking uptime into account).

I ran with the standard glyphs, mf/is/sf.

Could it be that MF is worth using only on movement(to keep up old idol), and IS is the one to use between eclipses?

Part of that is from the fact that IS is 14 seconds no matter what, an extended moonfire is 24 seconds...how often you have to refresh IS is why it does more total damage, but it doesn't necessarily do more damage per cast time...

I'm also trying to test Owlkin Frenzy. So no gale winds, no typhoon, and took 1 point from balance of power because my hit is good enough atm.

I also noticed a fairly high uptime on Queen, which surprised me, and enough uptime on Putricide and others to merit a harder study, especially because of the dps boost.

I think Nibelung's proc rate was adjusted. After spending a good 30+ minutes on a training dummy, it's proc rate seems a lot lower.

Seems if you can keep getting crits before the first tick of Languish you can prevent it from ticking.

This is anecdotal, but I was noticing much, much lower Val'kyr procs tonight too. I fear they've stealth-fixed our 2-3% proc chance... Might have to go back to my Bonespike.

That Halion looks nice. Basically the new Enlightenment. 277 Bonespike+Spindle might beat out 271 Halion, but I'll bet it's close.

I only showed a 1 to 2% proc rate on it this week and nothing over. RNG can possible be some reason buy I never averaged under like 4% on the fights I do use it for multiple weeks in a row, I'll also try some testing but I feel very sure they broked it for us, aka the only people who even thought about using it. Nice new and interesting procs blizz.

I did notice a much lower proc rate on my Valkyrs tonight as well. I never had more than 2 up, and two was a rare occurance.

Pretty sure it got nerfed. Last week Valks were 3.5-9.5% of my total dps on boss fights. This week they were 1.2% max of my DPS and some fights i got zero procs.

That big pull at the start of plague wing i normaly get 3 or 4 porcs with starfall and hurricanes. This week i got 1 proc in 10s and zero in 25.

I also had bad Nibelung procs this evening. I used it on Deathwhisper ans Saurfang and got a total of ONE proc...and it was my second to last cast on Saurfang so it did a whopping 1 cast.

Normally I have 1 up almost all the time on both fights with more than one a pretty good majority of the time.

Looks like from the other postings that it's a pretty safe bet that it was stealth nerfed.

The question is, if the Nibelung stealth-nerf isn't a bug, what will our new BiS weapon combo be?

[Frozen Bonespike] + [Shadow Silk Spindle]

[Royal Scepter of Terenas II] + [Shadow Silk Spindle]

[Tel'thas, Dagger of the Blood King] + [Shadow Silk Spindle]

[Halion, Staff of Forgotten Love] (3 red sockets)

or [Archus, Greatstaff of Antonidas] (3 red sockets)

The 284 mace as well as the staff both have clear spellpower advantages to make up for their deficiencies in itemization, which are what I'm leaning toward.

The staff's total spellpower (assuming a 9 SP socket bonus) comes out to be: 893+(141*.3)+(23*3)+(188*.12)+9+81 = 1125.56 spellpower. The mace + offhand combo comes out to (assuming 5 SP socket bonus): 893+119+23+5+63+((78+81)*.12) = 1122.08 spellpower.

So it comes down to the Staff's increased stats: 3.48 more spellpower and 18 crit rating, versus the mace + offhand's combined increased stats: 68 haste and 35 mp5. To me it seems like the clear choice will be [Royal Scepter of Terenas II] + [Shadow Silk Spindle], as sad as it is to wear mp5 gear.

Some math might be inaccurate, it's late and I'm sleepy!
