I was under the impression that didn't stack with Feral Swiftness. If it can be shown that it does, I'll certainly go re-enchant, but I personally have no means of accurately recording it.

Considering the benefit of Icewalker (and 16 agi) the point where run speed is going to beat the extra stats is going to be a bit higher than it was in BC. Considering we're only at +4 stats above level 70 enchants on boots (even cloak is +10 stats) I've been hoping we'd see a "Wolvar's Swiftness" added at some point.

Being in the right position faster often allows for a greater damage increase than the alternative pure AP or Agility enchants. Not to mention the other benefits of a speed increase.
Since 3.1, you can't count on Unholy Aura with its 15% speed increase anymore - it has been replaced with Improved Unholy Presence.

Since LK's been out, they've allowed the cat runspeed talents to work indoors and because it doesn't stack with the enchant it's useless for kitty dps.

Prior to the change, Cat's Swiftness was the DPS boot enchant to get.

Hello.

I just started leveling a druid, and i was woundering about a specific enchant, namely the Swordguard Embroidery from enchanting, how does that scale with catform? I'll look forward to your responces.

What model was used to determine the "best in slot" enchants for cat DPS in the first post? Rawr 2.2.6 has contradictory info for gloves and weapon:

Gloves: Greater Agility > Crusher
Weapon: Massacre is a distant 4th, behind Berserking, Executioner and Mongoose.

I think the main premises were based on pre-3.1, where SR was an AP increase, Rip couldn't crit, and Armor Pen was worse.

Indeed I made this post pre 3.1. Actually 1 or 2 weeks in WotlK. I didn't stop to think it would change. I'll see what is different and adjust it.

Changed:
Bear:
- Added chest greater defense
- Added bracers major defense
- Changed the order of glove enchants
- Changed the order of boot enchants

Cat:
- Gloves Major agility added and ranked as highest (Nice, so my t8.5 gloves are best enchanted for Bear AND Cat. Thanks for pointing it out.)
- Added boots Icewalker

I am leaving this forum so I won't be updating the thread anymore. In case of new enchants and changes I suggest someone else using my post as a starting point and making a new one, or if an admin would allow it they could assign the first post so someone else (if possible) so that person can edit the post.
