If the list in VuhDo is missing something you specifically want to see, then yes. For example, I have to write in Plague Sickness, for example, on both Vuhdo and oUF_RaidDebuffs.. It is really easy, though, in VuhDo - just type the name into the list of custom debuffs, and it will inherit the default behavior you have defined for all custom/raid debuffs. I'm not sure what debuffs the GridStatus mod has that VuhdDo doesn't, but it's just a matter of typing in debuffs that are pertinent to you.

After getting my 4.0 UI all set up, including all the work with VuhDo yesterday, I'm in pretty good shape. Here's how it looks from the beta raid today.

Main thing you can't see is the cast bar, which just above the cooldown bar and the same size. GCD spark is just above that, and also on the mouse pointer. Many of the features of my last UI are more or less unchanged, and are still things I might call attention to for anyone looking for ideas:
--Auracle box just under player frame to check for all raid buffs.
--Debuffs set off from other auras in a prominent location on the screen.
--Leftover (generally irrelevant) buffs in a small place in the corner.
--Combat text for everything besides incoming damage and debuffs also in an out-of-the-way spot.

As far as the frames, I recolored the HP bar red for anyone with aggro. As I was mentioning earlier, I moved Lifebloom timing off to a single bar just above the frames (so I can always look in one consistent location to know when to refresh).

Also, font/texture combo for this expansion is Arial Narrow and Minimalist (as a general point of advice, I would regard anyone who doesn't use Arial Narrow with a heightened degree of suspicion).

Hey there, I wanted to ask how to configure Vuhdo to show the translucent health bars, as shown in your screenshots. I've done what I feel is a good bit of searching to find the answer, but as of yet haven't found out how (including much trial and error through Vuhdo's configuration menu).

I started using Vuhdo after reading Greentouch's review and the subsequent posts a few days back, so I'm fairly new to the addon itself. That said, I've fallen in love with it, and after a bit of work I've gotten it to a level I'm quite happy with - barring the translucent health bars, that is. I'd like to attach a screenshot of my new UI, any feedback/questions would be appreciated/welcomed.

My healthbars currently have a dark-shaded foreground with bright class colors as the background, appearing as people take damage. I'm happy with this, but as you can see, my bars cover the game world under my feet. I'd absolutely love to have the translucent bars like AntiSemantic if he or anyone else can tell me how. Thanks!

How to create translucent bars in Vuhdo:

1) Go to General > Indicators and open the "More..." menu next to the Health Bar icon. Select the "Invert" option.
2) Go to General > Indicators and set you bar background bouquet such that it's default color is transparent by ensuring that that level of the bouquet has "Opacity" checked off and set in the color selection window.
3) Set up colors as desired.

Something to be careful of is that a lot of the default indicators, such as debuff coloring, are set to be part of the health bar, not the background. Since you inverted the bar color, you may want to change that depending on how you display these settings.

Lots of questions and interest in Vuhdo. I have been a fan of it for quite some time.

I did see that there were some unanswered questions about the addon and some feedback/suggestions about the addon.

So I wanted to point out to the others interested in finding out more, that the developer, Iza, hangs out at:
PlusHeal.com • View forum - Vuhdo Support

I found those forums to be very helpful in resolving some of the more indepth technical issues I had when configuring the addon such as you guys are experiencing.

I'm using Grid, GridIndicatorCornertext, and GridStatusHots (r158). I am having an issue with GridStatusHots. If I have either of the "lifeblooms" enabled from the GridStatusHots, when I cast LB, and during its entire duration, my performance dies. My FPS drops to around 1 and I lag like crazy (I typically can get through the busiest boss fights with 75+ FPS...). As soon as I uncheck the "enable" box(es) my performance is back to normal, even if I un-check it during the HoT duration. This leaves me with no timer for LB.

So the questions are: Anyone have this issue? If so, can you recommend a fix?

I haven't seen this question addressed anywhere, so I thought I'd ask, when I get home I'll (hopefully) have time to do more testing and figure out the problem, but It's been a real pain in my ass. Thanks for your help.

1. Delete WTF, Cache, Interface folders :P
2. ...

Joking, read a lot of technical support topics today as European servers failed us after the morning maintenance.

On topic: I use r148, and it works very well; I stopped updating any further until he's out of the alpha builds or I have a reason for it.

*edit and Version: 1.4.2 of GridIndicatorCornerText

I have a small question. I am using the latest version of grid for 4.0.1 and I am happy with it. But how can I show timers on my HoTs? Earlier, in 3.x, I had GridStatusHots or something like that, but its not updated for 4.x. Is there anything else I can use instead?

I believe it's updated now. You also need a "Text" indicator module (e.g. GridIndincatorCornerText or SideText), which provides text rather than merely boxes.

GridStatusHots is good to use for most people. Get it at wowace: Here

You should get all of your grid addons from wowace, as they have the most recent files.

I'm a longtime grid user, but am intrigued by Vuhdo. How do people who have used both feel about debuff handling in Vuhdo versus Grid? I currently have two separate icons on my frames for 1) raid debuffs and 2) cleanse able debuffs (which, admittedly, are sometimes the same). My fear is that Vuhdo either shows only debuffs which are cleans able or all debuffs ... no middle ground.

Another question relates to GridStatusControlPipes. Has anyone been able to get this working with the new Grid update? I used to use this to pipe lifebloom into GridManaBars but it is no longer working for me and am wondering if anyone has had any luck.

Vuhdo can show curable debuffs and also special debuffs if you want. For instance, with HLK I had the custom debuff monitor power word:shield so that I knew who was shielded and who might have been missed so that I can heal the infest that was missed by the priests.

A search of this thread shows a few brief mentions of Rewatch, but no real discussion of the addon as a viable UI addition. As this thread would seem to have drifted more toward heal panel selection and configuration, rather than overall UI selection and layout, the inclusion of Rewatch would seem appropriate.

Overview-
Highly graphical heal panel- Resto Druid specific

Pros-

Works immediately out of the box, no real configuration necessary
Scalable party/raid member panels by default contain all druid heal spells, health bar, display timer bars for each HoT spell, show LB stacks.
Icons in each party member panel for SM,HT,Nourish,RC,and thorns. (As Remove Corruption replaces both Remove Curse and Abolish Poison icons, Thorns icon was added to fill that void))
RC icon is greyed out until available for cast on debuffed party member, and the party member eligible for the buff will have their frame change color as notification
All panel icons have CD timers
Individual party member panels can be dragged anywhere on the screen to suit the druid, allowing for heal priorities to be closely grouped. Panels can then be locked to location.
Shift-right click dead party member health bar to rez. Brez or normal rez is automatically chosen, based on combat status

Cons-

Works immediately out of the box, no real configuration necessary. This may cause consternation for those who insist on micro-tweaking everything
Takes up too much screen real estate for any group over 10m, (personal opinion) though it is still very viable for tank healers, as party/raid member panels can be removed/added individually. Also viable for healers who have finite heal assignments in 25m
Sorting of heal spells cannot be adjusted
There is not currently an embedded CD timer to show the lag between when WG falls off, and is available for recast

I thought I would share with you how I organise my HoT indicators on my Grid.

I have labelled the appropriate indicators in the image below.

The only thing missing there is an indicator displaying if there are existing hots (other than my own). Due to the style of healing in cataclysm (spamming big heals, not worrying about mana) I never really found it to be a huge disadvantage. But I am adding something in Cataclysm due to the healing mindset change.

EDIT: I realise there is a typo in the image but I'm not opening photoshop again just to change it

Also, my cast bar isn't visibile but I use quartz centered just at the top of the black area where my unitframe is

Well I disabled the cluster feature on Vuhdo It was extremely useful when efflorescence was worth something, but since I untalented it... Pretty sure its a performance hog feature anyway.

Just thought some of you might need the reminder if you still use it, or a similar feature on another healing mod.
