With the shifting of Savage Roar from boosting AP to flat damage boost, I assume this will lessen the impact of [Mirror of Truth]? I know the Mirror will boost the Savage Defense (was posted earlier in this thread), making it a more hybrid useful trinket, especially for ferals who haven't managed to get their Darkmoon card yet.

Even with the lost synergy between Savage Roar and [Mirror of Truth] I'm guessing the Mirror will still be one of the best early cat dps upgrades to spend badges on, with the lost cat boost offset by the Savage Defense synergy.

I also wonder if that sort of shift in value is common to the LK proc trinkets.

I think most people are misinterpreting the Savage Roar change. While it is true that it no longer boosts the amount of your AP, it does boost the value of each individual point.

So while you will have less points than before, each point is worth more resulting in the same dps. Other than the change from +40% to +36% (glyphed), which is less than a 3% decrease, AP will not be devalued at all.

edit: I speculate it gives you a buff when it procs (can proc whenever), said buff just sits there and does nothing until you fall below 35% at which point it restores the hp and disappears.
It seems fairly lackluster to me. My average tick from Improved Leader of the Pack heals for almost that much on the PTR. There is a good bit of burst in Ulduar it seems, but I would probably stick with Mongoose or Massacre at this point.

While the AP benefit of Mirror of Truth has been slightly reduced, the crit benefit has been greatly increased. This makes it overall better than it is currently in relation to other trinkets. See the feral trinket thread.

Just a thought on the Blood Draining enchant: does it stack? The listed heal seems too pitiful to matter, but a 5 stack or something quickly becomes useful. That'd also prevent it from being too powerful when you're bouncing up and down around 35% HP frequently.

Happily the design for [Shifting Twilight Opal] was finally added on the PTR. It's available for purchase with 3 Jewelcrafting daily tokens, like the older designs, in Dalaran. So we can count on that for gemming in 3.1.

The difference is that the Blood Drain heal always comes exactly when you need it most, whereas Imp. LotP is often overheal.

You also won't ever be choosing between ILOTP and Blood Drain, you'll be choosing between Blood Drain and Mongoose. In perfect conditions (never gets leapfrogged, procs often enough to always be up when you drop below 35%, able to receive full heals) it's worth ~200 bear form stamina. It'll be worth less than that in practice but it's certainly worth at least looking at.

I assume you convert 2000 health to 200 stamina. This may be true for other tanks. Even after stamina nerfs that's closer to 125 stamina in the best case (and that's assuming it procs even if the hit kills you). Considering how powerful this enchant could be in PvP I guess it won't trigger close to as often as every time you drop below 35% in raids.

Swipe: The Bear Form and Dire Bear Form version of this ability no longer has a targeting requirement and hits targets behind the druid and to the sides.

How about it, 360 swipe without a target req. Crazy. Combined with the changes to FFF's coefficient, tanking groups and adds should be drastically easier.

Tested:
Swipe range no longer chains to targets up to 8-10 yards away, and will only hit targets within melee range.

Don't think it's been said yet, but the expertise values on PTR has been changed back to what we're used to from Live.

This is what MMOC has down as changes:

Classes: General

* Spirit: The amount of mana regeneration granted by this stat has been reduced by 40%.

Druid:
* Faerie Fire and Faerie Fire (Feral): Now decreases armor of your target by 5%. Has a 5-minute duration, and a 40-second PvP duration.
* Feral Faerie Fire: The damage generated by this ability in Bear Form and Dire Bear Form has been increased substantially.
* Innervate: This spell no longer costs mana.
* Pounce: No longer affected by diminishing returns with other stuns, however, it now shares a diminishing return with Cheap Shot (Rogue).
* Savage Defense: Trainable at level 40 with Dire Bear Form as a prerequisite. When the Druid deals a melee critical strike, they gain a physical damage shield equal to 25% of their attack power. The next hit completely consumes the shield, regardless of how much damage was done. Only active in Bear Form.
* Swipe: The Bear Form and Dire Bear Form version of this ability no longer has a targeting requirement and hits targets behind the druid and to the sides.

Balance

* Celestial Focus redesigned: Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Starfire, Hibernate and Hurricane by 23/46/70% and increases your total spell haste by 1/2/3%.
* Mark of the Wild and Gift of the Wild can now be cast while in Moonkin form.

Feral

* Predatory Strikes: This talent no longer works when in Moonkin form.
* Survival of the Fittest: Bonus armor reduced to 11/22/33% instead of 22/44/66%.

Restoration

* Improved Regrowth: This talent is renamed Nature’s Bounty. Increases the critical effect chance of your Regrowth and Nourish spells by 5/10/15/20/25%.
* Tree of Life: Now receives 240% increased armor. You can now use Nature's Grasp and Thorns while within this form. Mana cost reduced to match the cost of Travel Form.

* Glyph of Rebirth: Target now returns to life with full health.
* Glyph of Shred: Now increases remaining duration on Rip by 2 seconds each time it is used, up to a maximum of 6 seconds.

I was sort of excited on the swipe change, while it's nice to have the 360 attack, we'll still just only hit swipe during trash pulls but now it's just more mindless.
