I've checked european PTR forums and not a single entry about FFF bug as far as I could see, so I've made a new one. Feel free to give it a bump/ideas on how to fix it.

EU: Huggme's FFF bug report
USA: FFF bug report

Bump for this ^ it happens to me all the time and does my head in, pretty much.

I can't bump it on the WoW forums, though, because I have a US account.

EDIT: Sweet, I bumped it on your US link.

Has anyone done any math on the new Savage Roar for Cat DPS? With the new glyph it looks like instead of 40% AP it will be 36% physical damage... how much better or worse will that be?

Next time please read the discussion we had before. It is kind of annoying to see people go TL : DR on these forums.

To answer your question, Savage roar is a buff to damage and nerf to scaling. With that said, it'll take gear level impossible to obtain in WoTLK for the old one to overtake the new one, so overall it'll be a buff.

New idol stats have been updated on MMO-champion.

Druid T8 Restoration Relic -- Increases the spell power of your Nourish by 187.
Druid T8 Balance Relic -- Increases the spell power of your Insect Swarm by 374.
Druid T8 Feral Relic -- Your Mangle ability has a chance to grant 153 agility for 12 sec.

The feral idol seems like they either didn't want to put a different tank and DPS idol in, or they didn't want to think up an original idol. Either way, for DPS my napkin math puts it roughly equal to the rip idol at about 82% uptime. Given the wording I doubt it will be 100% chance to proc, and due to the nature of mangle use in DPS, I don't see it replacing Idol of Worship in most situations. For tanking though it should be pretty nice as our first real idol of the expansion.

I'm not very happy about the new balance druid armor, for some reason they have cut our crit and haste from the T7 to the T8 VERY dramatically. While the set bonuses are nice, the difference in stats leaves a great deal to be desired. Not to mention the new balance idol looks very lackluster.

Differences between T7.5 and Tier 8.5
Total T8 Total T7.5
381 Stam = 44 + 337 Stam
386 Int = 53 + 333 Int
217 Spirit = 123 + 94 Spirit
525 Spower = 72 + 453 Spower
176 Hit = 99 + 77 Hit
75 Haste = 41 - 116 Haste
132 Crit = 101 - 233 Crit

T7.5 -> T8.5
+44 Stam
+53 int
+123 Spirit
+72 Spower
+99 Hit
-41 Haste
-101 Crit

If you're not going to talk about the other set bonuses, don't include this one either.

As for the drop in stats, that +99 hit is well on the way to making up for it. Seems like itemization's a little lacking, though not much, but I very much like the idea that we won't have to resort to cloth, or a small sample of non-armor pieces, to get our hit. We still need 87 hit to cap, but that should be much easier to get now.

Well given how much we get from crit, I am somewhat concerned at the seemingly extraordinary amount of the drop.

Add in the Scorch/Winter's Chill change from 10% to 5% and the losing of our T7 bonus of 5% crit. It kinda worries me. =[
Though I guess the Scorch/winter's Chill is hurting everyone, not only us.

The new balance idol makes me sad.
[Idol of the Crying Wind]
It is actually 374 spell power on Insect Swarm.
It is outperformed by [Idol of the Shooting Star] if you cast more than 3 SF per IS cast.
Starfire
3.5/3.5 = 1.0 # Scaling before talents
1.20 # Wrath of Cenarius
1.2 * 1.1 = 1.32 # Moonfury
--------------
1.32 * 165 = 217 damage per cast from the SF idol

Insect Swarm
0.2 per tick #3.1.0 value
1.2 per cast
1.4 per cast #Nature's Splendor
1.4*1.3 = 1.82 # Glyphed
1.4*1.4 = 1.96 # Glyphed + 2/5 T7
-------------------
1.96 * 374 = 733 damage per cast
If you factor in that starfire can crit, shooting star outperforms it if you cast more than 2 SF per IS cast :/

The extra hit is nice, but the extra 120+ spirit seems like it could be put to much better use. It is not like we need the regen and even with talents it is a very poor dps stat.

I agree. Stat distribution on T7 was a lot better. Also i expected t8.25 to be itemlvl 232 as t8.10 is 219. So the 25man version is only actually half a tier above the 10man version.

Maybe they are going to make our IS to crit, with a similar change as Pandemic talent for Warlocks. Then this Idol makes some sense.

Or, maybe we are going to use way more wrath on our rotation this time around. There is still many changes coming by.

So far, agreed Shooting Start > Crying Wind.
