Yes, it was a typo on my part. I'm not sure if nightcrowler fixed it in his simulations or not, though.
Nightcrowler: I know you posted a bit before to figure out the discrepencies between your simulation and Rawr, well comparing the the 2pc+HM gear to the same gear setup in rawr, Yours shows roughly 300 less ap and the missed/dodged attack percentage seems off by a few 0.1% worth. Rawr shows .8588% dodged and 1.5871% missed. The ap part is very strange, though some of it can be attributed to the fact that you use BS sockets whereas my character sheet in rawr as ap to rings instead.
Just guessing from the numbers, could you have forgotten to include the passive AP on the comet's trail trinket? It is roughly equivalent to the difference in ap, with all other factors considered.
However, sometimes I have a mangle/trauma bot and sometimes I don't, even during the same raid night. Is there /command option to change Ravenous Beast Idol check on/off so it can be put in a macro with equipping the proper idol?
Is there any chance you could provide us with the Rip uptime of your simulations too? Or perhaps it's there and I'm just completely looking over it. Either way I've been fairly unhappy with mine as of late (4x T8 actually seems to have a negative impact on it as I'm alot more "aggressive" with my FB - maybe I shouldn't be), and after looking around and comparing some it appears to vary ALOT between other druids nearing the BiS list and your sims. I realise it's very situational and all but some indication towards the uptime in a close to perfect scenario would be pretty cool because maybe I'm just trying too hard to get it up now.

Uptime would be nice. According to Dr. Damage, my ferocious bites average about 12k damage, which sounds about right. Rip ticks for 2.2 or 5kish depending on if it crits or not. That's ~3 ticks where your rip can be "down" before you're losing damage.
The addon doesn't seem to handle the savage roar/rip rotation correctly after a ferocious bite. Its supposed to calculate the amount of time for a CP refresh savage roar + Rip refresh and damage loss from letting rip drop. A lot of the time this seems to be (in 4t8) 1 CP savage roar THEN 5 CP rip to keep optimal rip up time. But due to the way its coded, it will never suggest this unless savage roar drops below 4 seconds.
Is this the correct functionality, and if not could it be fixed (and how easily)?
This situation seems to come up a lot and is contrary to the rotation listed in the first post:
Ferocious bite suggestion. Rip duration is > Savage roar duration (say rip at ~12 and savage roar at ~10). This means you HAVE to refresh savage roar before Rip, no question. First page logic says (with 4t8), Refresh savage roar immediatly then build up to 5 cp and rip. However the addon will have you build CPs till savage roar is nearly run out, refresh that, then build 5 cps for Rip. Is this truly better? Or would refreshing savage roar at 5 or even 7 seconds depending on procs be better to maintain the rip uptime.
It also doesn't energy pool quite as much as I'd like. This depends somewhat on the fight of course.
Also, now that it has a trinket tracker, could this be used to optimize ability usage around the trinket procs (especialy runestone or grimtoll)? I tried doing it manually and it failed pretty miserably. With capped armor pen shreds hit/crit for 2/4k harder, while doing nothing for bleeds.
Overall awesome mod though, couldn't live without it.
On the last page alone, there have been 4-5 different BiS slots and its grown wildly confusing. In keeping the 4pct8, Is Embrace of the Gladiator still the best non-set piece to use, over both Legguards of Cunning Deception and Shoulderpads of the Monolith?
@Ramenchef.
Little discrepancy could be highly possible due to gemming/enchanting, If there is a discrepancy it should be about the same in both 2t8 and 4t8 so it shouldn't change the result, but I'll double check it!
@Pheratia.
At the moment there are no console command I'll add them in a future release.
@Pleun & Loan
I'll add them for you, and post the results soon. Indicativly 1 FB is around 3 Rip tick. The optimal rotation with 4t8 is 1 cp SR / 5 CP rip. The addon does it, sometimes you see different result, but it's due to the impossibility to exactly see the outcame of RNG, I should try to guess the future in the addon, based on probability, so it obviously can screw up but probably less than what you will do without it.
From simulated data yes. The way it works is the best one. Basically:
1 SR + 5 RIP is the base, if you have a long time on both sr and rip the addon does the following:
start building CP, if SR go down -> SR, if you reach 5 cp: if SR go down -> SR, if you have so little time for SR timer to be unable to reach the required CP (1 with 4T8) it will SR otherwise it will RIP.
Basically you are asking why, knowing that you don't refresh SR with 1-2 CPs early and the RIP. That's basically a matter of fight lengh. If the boss is going to die soon you have reason (and I've not implemented that into addon code, at least not completly) but if the fight is still long, a 5 cp SR will for sure give you at least an extra FB vs. an early refreshed SR, the net result is a dps gain.
As for trinket tracker it already switch between rake and shred, when I have both grim toll and Darkmoon Card up (and I'm fully raid buffed) FBN suggest me to only shred. If you think about "sincronization" (using bersk or TF with trinket up), I prefere to live it to the player skill because the best thing to do is too much dependent on your environment.
@Talanik:
Legguards of Cunning Deception is BiS not tier slot.
Some note for FBN bug report.
The latest version should suggest shred correctly on yogg-brain, so be sure you have it.
As for proc monitor. That frame obviosly still need some work and it's a bit tricky (the cd on procs is hidden so i have manually added them and needed a way to let it show without reading the information from wow). For that for istance if you are in cat form, then after the combat you switch gear/trinket and go bear you will still see the old trinket icons. It's not a bug and it's not a problem, when the new trinkets will proc for the first time they will overwrite the old graphical effects, so don't worry. I'll probably add an item-change check inside the addon to wipe the graphic uppon trinket change, but it's not my highest priority because it's only a "graphical coolness" and doesn't really change the functionality of the addon.

I haven't seen it posted here yet, but does anyone know what the state of ArP vs. Agi would be when using Idol of the Corruptor?
Also, when using Idol of the Corruptor, will leaving both trinket boxes unchecked result in the correct rotation for the proc of this trinket? If not, would it be possible to add a checkbox and the appropriate math to produce a correct rotation for cats required to maintain mangle?
Remember that the cycle already change accordingly to idol procs, it was only a graphical issue.
@Bivolu: actually in my simulation mongoose cames ahead berserking with Uld gear (while Bers>MG with t7), the difference is pretty small (a few dps) and it will probably end up with personal flavor.
- fixed expected time to live and boss health. Now the suggestion monitor should work accordingly (this will also solve a bug with "save for heart" under boss mode)
I have google'd and search the forums but i haven't found a solution at all...
I have installed the latest version of FBN, i just hit 80 with my alt druid, but for some reason its not suggesting anything at all...
The WoW Client keeps suggesting that there are multi erorrs and i should disable my mods or ignore everything i have FBN active.
I have cleared my wtf file and even made a new addon folder with just FBN in it, and i still can't get the move suggestion to work. also another problem is that it keeps telling me that i'm capped off at 34 energy, in the monitor and in the hud.
if this post is in the wrong place, i am sorry, but i figured this is the best place to put this.
My solution was really stupid... Go learn your news talents! I was always main spec boomkin and when I duel specced Feral, I forgot to get my new talents, which included 5 Ranks of Mangle. I then relogged and everything worked perfectly!
I tried the latest version of FBN on live and got an error message about an undefined font or something. The positions of all the notifications windows are visible like when the mod is unlocked for you to set their positions, but /fbn doesn't work. I re-installed my old version and everything is working fine now.
@Clausm. I think I've found the problem on PTR, but I can't change it on live because blizzard changed something into LUA so I can't make a version compatible with both, I should add a check to wow version, but I never did it, so I should see how to work it out, give me a few days. The change made is about the number of variables called to see the casting monitor (they have added an "interruptable" switch).
@RareBeast: that sound strange, I didn't put hands on fonts or something like that, anyone else with the same problem?
P.S. The 3.235 FBN push could have some problem on target dummies because it can think that is a target going to die, it's not a real bug I simply didn't remember to add an internal check for target dummies, I'll put it in the next release, don't worry it should work fine on real mobs.
Thanks for your work, Nightcrowler. Blizzard now implemented some interface features, should it depend on it to? Many addons on PTR have errors (like Prat, Cartographer, Pitbull etc.).
And yeah, 3.235 recommends FB instead of Rip and Shred instead of Rake on training dummy. I switched back to 2.234 for a while, it works correctly.
@Clausm & Kentakka. I've already corrected it, tomorrow I'll post the new version so it will work fine, before I want to investigate the problem reported by Kentakka. Actually I like if you send me info about PTR, but I'm not going to make specific code till PTR is somewhere stable and near the release (It's already difficult to find time for live version!)
Change log v.3236
- Target dummies are now fixed, the addon no longer thinks that they are going to die soon.
- An error with interrupt saved variable when updating from version older than 3.22 is fixed. As a side effect you interrupt options will be reseted.
