I just started trying this tonight for my feral druid, and I seem to be getting an error with the latest build.
Message: ..\AddOns\FeralbyNight\FeralbyNight.lua line 5091:
attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'mangle_energy' (a nil value)
Debug:
[C]: ?
FeralbyNight\FeralbyNight.lua:5091: DecideSpells()
FeralbyNight\FeralbyNight.lua:3159: OnUpdate()
FeralbyNight\FeralbyNight.lua:2132:
FeralbyNight\FeralbyNight.lua:2131
As well, I don't think the move suggestion predictor is working correctly for me.

@Tsukigato: are you level 80? are you feral specced? Have you reminded to learn the latest rank of every spell? If not, it can't work.
@Wargeico: No, it's not updated for ptr.

Wow, apparently I did miss a couple ranks there, thanks for that. Could have sworn I trained them. Thanks!

Feralbynight is really a nice addon. Although i don't use it I noticed something very useful by testing it : the procc monitor. My question is :
Is there another addon, which can show me the inner cooldown of proccs like darkmoon card or grim toll...? (i'd prefer addons with small memory usage ;P)

Small question about what seems like a funny behavior with the FBN recommendation I get on occasion.
I'll have 5 combo points, mangle and rake and savage roar on the target, and rip has run out. And it tells me to shred once before telling me to rip. That seems funny. Perhaps I am misremembering what buffs I have up and this doesn't happen enough that I could tell you my exact energy totals, etc. But is there an obvious reason it wouldn't have me rip ASAP anytime I have 5 cp and SR/mangle? Or am I just confused and missing something -- maybe one of those buffs isn't up? But then why shred and not apply the buff that might be missing?
EDIT: Ok, was probably an OoC proc though you'd think I'd notice that. Thanks all.

You probably had OoC proc, in which case you'll want to use that to Shred since it has a pretty high energy cost of 60 and does good damage. It's worth pushing back Rip 1 GCD for a free Shred.

It could be clearcasting - you should ALWAYS Shred on clearcasts and thus FBN will tell you to do so even if Rip isn't up.

It would also tell you to Shred if you have the Shred glyph (you should), and haven't yet refreshed your Rip fully with it. At least, I am assuming it would, nightcrowler seems to think of everything.

With the newest version and having tested initially on Lvl60 "Expert's Training Dummy" only because it was the dummy with the least distance to travel to, I noticed the addon was not suggesting Rake. I did not notice this for a while as I was paying a whole lot more attention to readjusting the placement of the addon.
After noticing this, I proceeded to test on the Lv80 Dummies where Rake was suggested.
There isn't any reason to avoid the use of Rake on lower level targets assuming the target's Health can sustain the full duration of Rake, right? Keeping in mind the recent addon change to time to live for dummies, is this just a remnant of the old code that didn't get changed?

@Torzak: I simply slacked and didn't put the dummies change on low level dummies, I assumed that level 80 usually doesn't do tests on level 60 dummies. I'll change it.
@Nightlily: I think the case is simply OOC procs. As for Shred glyph, yes it may happens that using shred>rake due to not having a full rip stack, but it's not always the case it also depends on your crit, ap, arpen, etc..

About Furious Bite
First of all, thank you for this great addon Nightcrowler! Many of us ferals are in debt with you...
I just had a doubt that you guys can surely clarify: I understand that the critical chance of Furious Bite upon bleeding targets increases substantially. The case in hand is that i've noticed that FBN often suggest to Furious Bite with rake down and I was wondering if this is intentional due to other types of bleeds and such.
Regards to all!

In most cases FB is only suggested, when you don't need to rip, because rip is already up. Rip is a type of bleed.

My current problem is that why does it suggest FFF even when i have 6 seconds left on cooldown and a full rage bar. It never suggest Mangle or maul or anything only FFF all the time. I doubt it was meant to do this. I found other posts in here where otheres have said same thing. One was responded to by night saying he would look into it but i havn't found anymore on it. My question is, is this a bug or do i have something wrong with my addon and/or setup?

@Sylvaneart:
actually I've investigated it, but I'm unable to replicate the problem. Try it on target dummies (reach a full bar with autoattack and then start your cycle) and tell me the results. Actually the only possible bug that I can think of is something concerning moonkin/SPriest debuff. If it persist also when you are alone I'm really lost. (Try also to uninstall and reinstall the addon, are you correctly feral specced? Are you 80? Have you trained all spell ranks?).

Do any of you use the EJ Vent that is up now to the public frequently to discuss Kitty TC? I'd be interested in finding some of those discussions.

A kitty druid night on the new vent server would be just.. amazing. Anyone with me?
also, Night, if you've looked at Astrylian's work on Rawr, do you know if there are any major differences between the two simulators aside from cycle? Granted that is a very important difference.

The major difference is that Rawr is not a simulator - that's why I'd rather trust FBN than Rawr. The differences have been discussed a little on this forum here and there, but maybe you'll get a more detailed reply from Nightcrowler.

For JCs, any ideas on how you're going to gem after 3.2 drops? (Dragon's Eye no longer prismatic) Is the best option to replace the current Dragon's Eyes with Glinting (agi/hit) and Shifting (agi/stam), and then replace 3 scarlet rubies with new Dragon's Eyes?

My plan is to use Nightmare Tear (+10 all) to fulfill the blue/yellow requirement and then go with all red, unless sockets are somehow exceedingly awesome.
In general, a nightmare tear will always be better than any stamina gem since it provides both strength and agility.

Best course is generally a tear in a +4 or +6 agi socket, gem the rest red. Occasionally a yellow socket with an awesome bonus is worth getting, blue sockets never are.
